PROHIBITION OF CLEVER Snacking

PROHIBITION OF CLEVER Snacking By: Ahmad Syahrin Thoriq Did you know that one of the rules in the world of Islamic education in the past was that students were strictly prohibited from buying or receiving food that was sold openly?  In the book al Madkhal (2/322) it is stated that educators will forbid food sellers around madrasas if they do not cover the food they sell and do not maintain cleanliness when selling properly.  Attention to cleanliness is so high because Muslims understand that this is a principle and support for the smooth running of education.  Unhealthy food will not only cause illness so that students are prevented from attending lessons, but will also affect students' intelligence. Bad food will not only be "poison" for the stomach, but also the brain.  That's why once a month, doctors will routinely be brought in to check all things related to the cleanliness of the food and also the environment around the madrasa.  Subhanallah, compare

There shall be a humiliating punishment for these people”(Surah Luqman, verse: 6) Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud,, Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas, Jabir ‘Ikrimah, Sa’id ibn Jubayr,(may Allah be pleased with them) Mujahid, Makhul and Hasan Al Basri (rahimahumullah) were all of the view that ‘futile discourse’ refers to music/ musical instruments. ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) took an oath that this verse is referring to music.
