These are the names that could replace Kevin McCarthy, there is Donald Trump - A small group of rebellious Republicans in the US House of Representatives succeeded in ousting their leader, Speaker Kevin McCarthy, on Tuesday, which was a historic first.  It's unclear who will replace McCarthy, but here are some possibilities: Steve Scalise Representative Matt Gaetz, the lawmaker who spearheaded the effort to oust McCarthy, said he would support Steve Scalise to take over the role.
