Like when we mention the word human or building, then that's the name of a type of creature. Meanwhile, when we say Pak Ahmad and the Kaaba, those are the names of nature, namely the name of a person and the name of an object. And the majority of scholars are also of the opinion that the word "devil" comes from a non-Arabic vocabulary or 'ajam like the words Ibrahim, Adam etc. [1] While some scholars, such as Abu Salih and Quthaibah, are of the opinion that the word "devil" is a derivative of the word "ablasa" which means to be driven away or to despair.[2] However, some linguists have argued against this.
