KPK: Found Flow of Billions of Rupiah to NasDem on SYL's Orders

The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) revealed the use of money resulting from corruption by former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) stated that it had discovered alleged flows of corrupt funds for the NasDem Party, to which the SYL party belongs.
"It was also found that there was a flow of money used as ordered by SYL which was intended for the interests of the NasDem Party with a value of billions of rupiah," said KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata at a press conference at the KPK building, Jl Kuningan Persada, Jakarta, Friday (13/10/2023).
Alexander has not mentioned the detailed amount of money used from alleged corruption aimed at NasDem. He said investigators were continuing to investigate this case.

"The KPK will continue to investigate," he said.
The Corruption Eradication Commission also stated that it would continue to trace and investigate the receipts in the form of gratuities received by SYL together with KS and MH.
Alexander mentioned the alleged use of funds resulting from corruption by SYL. The Corruption Eradication Commission stated that the money from the alleged corruption was used for the personal interests of SYL and his family.
"The use of money by SYL is known to KS and MH, including payment of credit card installments, installments for the purchase of SYL's Alphard car, repairs to private homes, plane tickets for the family, as well as medical treatment and facial care for the family which is worth billions of rupiah," he said.
He said the Corruption Eradication Committee found evidence of the initial money enjoyed by SYL together with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Kasdi Subagyono (KS) and the Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery, Ministry of Agriculture, Muhammad Hatta (MH), around Rp. 13.9 billion. He said investigators were still investigating further.
"There was another use of money by SYL together with KS and MH as well as a number of officials at the Ministry of Agriculture for the Umrah pilgrimage in the Holy Land worth billions of rupiah," said Alexander.
In this case, Syahrul, Kasdi and Hatta have been named as suspects. The three were detained for the next 20 days.
The three of them were charged with Article 12 letters e and 12B of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Corruption Eradication). The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) also named SYL as a suspect in the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU) under Article 3 and/or Article 4 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning TPPU.

KPK mengungkap penggunaan uang hasil korupsi yang dilakukan eks Menteri Pertanian (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). KPK menyatakan menemukan dugaan aliran dana korupsi untuk Partai NasDem, yang merupakan partai SYL bernaung.
"Ditemukan juga aliran penggunaan uang sebagaimana perintah SYL yang ditujukan untuk kepentingan Partai NasDem dengan nilai miliaran rupiah," kata Wakil Ketua KPK Alexander Marwata dalam jumpa pers di gedung KPK, Jl Kuningan Persada, Jakarta, Jumat (13/10/2023).
Alexander belum menyebutkan jumlah rinci dari penggunaan uang hasil dugaan korupsi yang ditujukan kepada NasDem. Dia mengatakan penyidik terus mendalami kasus ini.

"KPK akan terus mendalami," kata dia.
KPK juga menyatakan akan terus menelusuri dan mendalami penerimaan-penerimaan dalam bentuk gratifikasi yang diterima SYL bersama-sama KS dan MH.
Alexander sempat menyebutkan dugaan penggunaan dana hasil korupsi yang dilakukan SYL. KPK menyatakan uang hasil dugaan korupsi digunakan untuk kepentingan pribadi SYL dan keluarganya.
"Penggunaan uang oleh SYL diketahui KS dan MH antara lain untuk pembayaran cicilan kartu kredit, cicilan pembelian mobil Alphard milik SYL, perbaikan rumah pribadi, tiket pesawat bagi keluarga, hingga pengobatan dan perawatan wajah bagi keluarga yang nilainya mencapai miliaran rupiah," katanya.
Dia mengatakan KPK menemukan bukti permulaan uang yang dinikmati SYL bersama-sama dengan Sekjen Kementan Kasdi Subagyono (KS) dan Direktur Alat dan Mesin Pertanian Kementan Muhammad Hatta (MH) sekitar Rp 13,9 miliar. Dia mengatakan penyidik masih menelusuri lebih lanjut.
"Terdapat penggunaan uang lain oleh SYL bersama-sama KS dan MH serta sejumlah pejabat di Kementerian Pertanian untuk ibadah umrah di Tanah Suci senilai miliaran rupiah," kata Alexander.
Dalam kasus ini, Syahrul, Kasdi, dan Hatta telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Ketiganya ditahan selama 20 hari ke depan.
Ketiganya disangkakan Pasal 12 huruf e dan 12B Undang-Undang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi (UU Pemberantasan Tipikor). KPK juga menetapkan SYL sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan tindak pidana pencucian uang (TPPU) dengan sangkaan Pasal 3 dan/atau Pasal 4 UU nomor 8 Tahun 2010 tentang TPPU.
