Tarik Ulur Cawapres Anies dan Demokrat yang Mulai "Main Mata" dengan PDI-P
Pengumuman bakal calon wakil presiden (bacawapres) Anies Baswedan memicu ketegangan di internal Koalisi Perubahan untuk Persatuan (KPP).
Pasalnya, Partai Nasdem dan Partai Demokrat memiliki pandangan bertolak belakang terkait waktu pengumuman cawapres Anies.
Di satu sisi, Partai Demokrat mendesak agar Anies segera mengumumkan cawapres yang akan mendampinginya pada Pemilu 2024.
Bahkan, Partai Demokrat menilai, tak kunjung diumumkannya cawapres menjadi penyebab stagnasi elektabilitas Anies belakangan.
"Memang ada kecenderungan (elektabilitas Anies) menurun dari survei Indikator karena mungkin, dugaan kami, hipotesa kami adalah lambannya proses deklarasi," kata Kepala Badan Pemenangan Pemilu (Bappilu) Partai Demokrat Andi Arief Senin (5/6/2023) pekan lalu.
Di sisi lain, Partai Nasdem menyebut deklarasi bakal cawapres Anies tak bisa dipatok waktu.
Menurutnya, pengumuman cawapres Anies juga harus memperhatikan dinamika politik nasional.
"Kita dinamis saja. Namanya politik kan bisa tiba-tiba ada sesuatu hal yang harus segera, (atau) bisa saja jadi mundur. Kayak gitu kan dinamislah, enggak bisa dipatok harus gini," kata Ketua DPP Partai Nasdem Taufik Basari, Senin.
"Main mata" dengan PDI-P
Di tengah tarik ulur cawapres Anies, Partai Demokrat sendiri justru terlihat membuka kemungkinan untuk menjajaki kerja sama dengan Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDI-P).
Diketahui, dua partai ini berada di garis yang berlawanan dalam 20 tahun terakhir.
Sekretaris Jenderal PDI-P Hasti Kristiyanto menyebutkan, tak ada salahnya membangun dialog dengan partai besutan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
Menurut dia, kemungkinan untuk merangkul pihak lain ini merupakan semangat gotong royong yang dianut oleh PDI-P.
"PDI Perjuangan itu merangkul, sambil menunggu toh lamaran dari Pak Anies Baswedan ke Demokrat belum turun. Maka enggak ada salahnya berdialog,” kata Hasto, Sabtu (10/6/2023).
Menanggapi "lirikan" PDI-P, Partai Demokrat pun menyambut baik rencana tersebut.
Sekjen Partai Demokrat Teuku Riefky Harsya menyebutkan, partainya terbuka untuk semua partai dalam kerja sama politik untuk Pemilu 2024.
"Partai Demokrat selalu terbuka untuk berkomunikasi dengan seluruh partai politik, termasuk PDIP," kata Teuku Riefky, dilansir dari Kompas .com, Minggu (11/6/2023).
"Untuk itu, kami menghormati dan menghargai pintu komunikasi yang telah disampaikan melalui pernyataan terbuka Sekjen PDI-P, Mas Hasto," sambungnya.
Rencanakan pertemuan
Bahkan, Partai Demokrat dan PDI-P akan merencanakan adanya pertemuan.
Ketua Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) PDI-P Puan Maharani mengaku segera bertemu dengan Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
Pertemuan ini ditujukan untuk menjajaki koalisi, khususnya terkait cawapres Ganjar Pranowo.
"Kita lihat dulu, ngobrol-ngobrol dulu apakah kita punya kesamaan membangun Indonesia ke depan," kata Puan, Minggu.
Kendati demikian, Puan belum mengetahui pasti kapan waktu pertemuannya dengan AHY.
Anies and Democrats' Cawapres Tug-of-war, who have started "flirting" with the PDI-P
The announcement of Anies Baswedan's vice presidential candidate (bawapres) sparked tension within the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP).
This is because the Nasdem Party and the Democratic Party have contradictory views regarding the timing of the announcement of Anies' vice presidential candidate.
On the one hand, the Democrat Party is urging Anies to immediately announce a vice presidential candidate who will accompany him in the 2024 election.
In fact, the Democratic Party believes that the failure to announce a vice presidential candidate has been the cause of Anies' electability stagnation recently.
"There is indeed a tendency for (Anies' electability) to decrease from the indicator survey because perhaps, we suspect, our hypothesis is the slow declaration process," said the Head of the Democratic Party's Election Winning Body (Bappilu) Andi Arief Monday (5/6/2023) last week.
On the other hand, the Nasdem Party said the declaration of Anies' vice presidential candidate could not be set in time.
According to him, the announcement of Anies' vice presidential candidate must also pay attention to the dynamics of national politics.
"We're just dynamic. In the name of politics, suddenly something has to be done immediately, (or) it could be backwards. Like that, it's dynamic, it can't be set like this," said Nasdem Party DPP chairman Taufik Basari, Monday.
"Flirt" with PDI-P
In the midst of the tug-of-war for Anies' vice presidential candidate, the Democrat Party itself seems to have opened up the possibility of exploring cooperation with the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P).
It is known, these two parties have been on opposite lines in the last 20 years.
PDI-P Secretary General Hasti Kristiyanto said there was nothing wrong with establishing a dialogue with the party made by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
According to him, the possibility of embracing other parties is the spirit of gotong royong that is espoused by PDI-P.
"The PDI Perjuangan is embracing, while waiting for Mr. Anies Baswedan's application to the Democrats to come yet. So there's nothing wrong with dialogue," said Hasto, Saturday (10/6/2023).
Responding to PDI-P's "glances", the Democrat Party also welcomed the plan.
Democratic Party Secretary General Teuku Riefky Harsya said his party was open to all parties in political cooperation for the 2024 election.
"The Democratic Party is always open to communicating with all political parties, including the PDI-P," said Teuku Riefky, quoted from Kompas.com, Sunday (11/6/2023).
"For this reason, we respect and appreciate the door of communication that has been conveyed through an open statement by the Secretary General of the PDI-P, Mas Hasto," he continued.
Plan a meeting
In fact, the Democratic Party and PDI-P will plan a meeting.
Chairperson of the PDI-P Central Leadership Council (DPP) Puan Maharani said she would soon meet Democratic Party General Chair Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
This meeting was intended to explore coalitions, especially regarding the vice presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo.
"Let's see, have a chat first, whether we have anything in common in developing Indonesia in the future," said Puan, Sunday.
However, Puan did not know exactly when her meeting with AHY would be.
