Rasulullah SAW's message: Beware of leaders with 4 characteristics of hypocrites

– Allah SWT says that hypocrites are placed in the lowest level of hell, as His Word says in Surah An-Nisa Verse 145. So hypocrisy is a major sin and is threatened with being placed in the lowest level of hell.
Imam Muslim narrated the explanation of the Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding the four characteristics of a hypocrite. If a prospective leader has hypocritical characteristics as mentioned by Rasulullah SAW, then he must be aware of the bad consequences, because he has committed such a big sin that he is threatened with being put in the deepest hell. Unless he sincerely repents and throws away his hypocritical nature.
صحيح مسلم ٨٨: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَ نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَ God bless you حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ع َنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْمَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ ال God willing كَانَ مُنَافِقًا خَالِصًا وَمَنْ كَانَتْ فِيهِ خَلَّةةٌ مِنْهُنَّ كَانَتْ فِيهِ خَلَّةٌ مِنْ نِفَاقٍ حَتَّى يَدَعَهَا إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ وَإِذَا عَاهَدَ غَدَرَوَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ وَإِذَا خَاصَمَ فَجَرَ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَ مِنْهُنَّ كَانَتْ فف ِيهِ خَصْلَةٌ مِنْ النِّفَاقِ
Abdullah bin Amru said that Rasulullah SAW said, "There are four things, whoever has these four things in himself then he becomes a true hypocrite, and if one of the characteristics of these four things is in him, then in him there is a characteristic of hypocrisyuntil he left her.
If you speak you always lie (lie),
if the agreement is in conflict (violation),
if you promise (make an agreement) you always break it (betray),
if you disagree (quarrel) always be cunning (deviate)."
In the Sufyan hadith, the editorial states, "If he has one of these traits (hypocrisy) then he has one of the traits of hypocrisy." (HR Imam Muslim)
In this hadith it is explained that if someone has one of the four hypocritical traits, then he is a hypocrite until he abandons the four hypocritical traits.
Nifak is an erratic attitude, incongruence between words and actions. Reporting from the book Apostle's Will for Men, written by Muhammad Khalil Itani, translated by Ahmad Syakirin, published by AQWAM, 2013. It is explained that there are two types of hypocrisy.
The first is nifaq akbar (large nifaq). Namely someone who displays faith and hides disbelief. Hypocrites like this are eternal in hell, even at the lowest level of hell. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِيْرًاۙ
“Indeed, the hypocrites are (placed) in the lowest level of hell. You will not find a helper for them.” (QS An-Nisa Verse 145)
Second, nifaq ashghar (small nifaq). Namely nifaq in practice. It means someone who openly displays his goodness and hides his evil. The person who does this, he is in great danger.
You know, the origin of this nifaq goes back to the qualities mentioned in the hadith above. If he speaks he lies, if he promises he breaks, if he quarrels he strays, and if he makes an agreement he betrays.

– Allah SWT menyampaikan bahwa orang munafik ditempatkan di tingkat paling bawah dari neraka, sebagaimana Firman-Nya pada Surat An-Nisa Ayat 145. Maka sifat munafik termasuk dosa besar hingga diancam ditempatkan di neraka paling bawah.
Imam Muslim meriwayatkan penjelasan Nabi Muhammad SAW terkait empat ciri sifat orang munafik. Jika seorang calon pemimpin memiliki sifat munafik seperti yang disebutkan Rasulullah SAW, maka harus diwaspadai dampak buruknya, karena dia melakukan dosa besar hingga diancam ditempatkan di neraka paling bahwa. Kecuali dia bertobat dengan sungguh-sungguh dan membuang jauh-jauh sifat munafiknya.

Abdullah bin Amru berkata bahwa Rasulullah SAW bersabda, "Ada empat perkara, siapapun yang empat perkara tersebut ada pada dirinya maka dia menjadi orang munafik sejati, dan jika salah satu sifat dari empat perkara tersebut ada pada dirinya, maka pada dirinya terdapat satu sifat dari kemunafikan hingga dia meninggalkannya.
Jika berbicara selalu berdusta (berbohong),
jika melakukan perjanjian menyelisihi (melanggar),
jika berjanji (membuat kesepakatan) selalu ingkar (berkhianat),
jika berselisih (bertengkar) selalu licik (menyimpang)."
Dalam hadits Sufyan redaksinya berbunyi, "Apabila dalam dirinya terdapat salah satu sifat (munafik) tersebut maka dia memiliki salah satu sifat kemunafikan." (HR Imam Muslim)
Di dalam hadits tersebut dijelaskan, jika seseorang memiliki salah satu dari sifat munafik yang empat itu, maka dia adalah orang munafik sampai dia meninggalkan sifat munafik yang empat tersebut.
Nifak adalah sikap yang tidak menentu, tidak sesuai antara ucapan dan perbuatannya. Dilansir dari buku Wasiat Rasul Buat Lelaki yang ditulis Muhammad Khalil Itani diterjemahkan Ahmad Syakirin diterbitkan AQWAM, 2013. Dijelaskan bahwa ada dua jenis kemunafikan.
Pertama adalah nifaq akbar (nifak besar). Yakni seseorang yang menampakkan keimanan dan menyembunyikan kekafiran. Orang munafik seperti ini kekal di dalam neraka, bahkan berada di tingkatan paling bawah dari neraka. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala berfirman:
اِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ فِى الدَّرْكِ الْاَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِۚ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِيْرًاۙ
“Sesungguhnya orang-orang munafik itu (ditempatkan) di tingkat paling bawah dari neraka. Kamu tidak akan mendapat seorang penolongpun bagi mereka.” (QS An-Nisa Ayat 145)
Kedua, nifaq ashghar (nifaq kecil). Yakni nifaq dalam amalan. Maknanya seseorang yang menampakkan secara terang-terangan kebaikannya dan menyembunyikan keburukannya. Orang yang mengerjakan hal ini, ia berada dalam bahaya yang sangat besar.
Ketahuilah, pangkal dari nifaq ini kembali kepada sifat-sifat yang telah disebut dalam hadits di atas. Jika berbicara ia berdusta, jika berjanji ia menyelisihi, jika bertengkar ia menyimpang, dan jika membuat kesepakatan ia berkhianat.
