There are a number of Quranic verses about Israel and Palestine. One of these verses reveals that Allah had ordered the Bani Israel to occupy the land of Palestine in the past.
However, they are reluctant to believe and obey God's teachings contained in the Torah, thus making God angry. Therefore, the rights of the Children of Israel to the land of Palestine were canceled by Allah Ta'ala.
These verses have been widely discussed since Israeli troops launched air and ground attacks on Hamas in Gaza following a cross-border attack carried out by the Islamist group on October 7 2023. Reporting from the US News website, Tuesday (12/12/2023), at least 17,487 Palestinians have been killed since then, according to data from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
The humanitarian disaster in Gaza is getting worse over time with most of its 2.3 million residents homeless. They have little food, water, medical care, fuel, or safe shelter.

1. QS. Al Isra' verse 4
وَقَضَيۡنَاۤ اِلٰى بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَاۤءِيۡلَ فِى الۡكِتٰبِ لَـتُفۡس ِدُنَّ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ مَرَّتَيۡنِ وَلَتَعۡلُنَِ
Meaning: And We decreed against the Children of Israel in the Book, "You will surely do evil on this earth twice and you will surely boast with great arrogance."
In this verse it is explained that the Children of Israel were reluctant to be ordered by Allah to be guided by the book of the Torah which was revealed to the Prophet Moses. They have even twice caused damage to Palestine or Baitul Maqdis.
However, Allah did not immediately impose punishment on the Children of Israel. In this way, they will continue to boast.
2. QS. Al Maidah verse 21
يٰقَوۡمِ ادۡخُلُوا الۡاَرۡضَ الۡمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِىۡ كَتَبَ اللّ ٰهُ لَـكُمۡ وَلَا تَرۡتَدُّوۡا عَلٰٓى اَدۡبَارِكُمۡ فَتَـنۡقَلِبَُ ۡا خٰسِرِيۡنَ
Meaning: O my people! Enter the holy land (Palestine) that Allah has appointed for you, and do not turn back (for fear of the enemy), or you will be the loser.
Reported from the Ministry of Religion website, this verse contains the Prophet Moses' warning to the Children of Israel to enter the holy land of Canaan to live in the land that God had promised and determined to be their residence. According to the history of Ibn 'Asakir from Mu'adz bin Jabal, the holy land in question is between the Tigris river and the Furat river, namely Palestine.
The land is considered holy because many Prophets were sent there to spread the teachings of Allah, so the land is clean of statues and heretical beliefs. The Prophet Musa also forbade the Children of Israel from returning to worshiping idols if they did not want the blessings given by Allah to be cancelled.
3. QS. Al A'raf verse 137
Home God willing Words God bless you َوۡمُهٗ وَمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡرِشُوۡنَ
Meaning: And We bequeathed to the oppressed people the eastern and western parts of the earth which We have blessed. And the word of your good Lord has been perfected (as a promise) for the Children of Israel because of their patience. And We destroyed what Pharaoh and his people had created and what they had built.
In the verse above it is explained that the Children of Israel finally received God's favor after being oppressed by Pharaoh and his people. This blessing is inheriting the western and eastern regions which are fertile and blessed by Allah.
Therefore, Allah sent the Prophet Moses to free them from the slavery of Pharaoh, and expel the Children of Israel from the land of Egypt. After the Children of Israel were in Palestine, Allah kept His promise by destroying Pharaoh and his followers.

Ada sejumlah ayat Alquran tentang Israel dan Palestina. Salah satu dari ayat tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa Allah telah memerintahkan Bani israil untuk menduduki tanah Palestina di masa lalu.

1. QS. Al Isra’ ayat 4
وَقَضَيۡنَاۤ اِلٰى بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَاۤءِيۡلَ فِى الۡكِتٰبِ لَـتُفۡسِدُنَّ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ مَرَّتَيۡنِ وَلَتَعۡلُنَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيۡرًا
Artinya: Dan Kami tetapkan terhadap Bani Israil dalam Kitab itu, "Kamu pasti akan berbuat kerusakan di bumi ini dua kali dan pasti kamu akan menyombongkan diri dengan kesombongan yang besar."
Dalam ayat ini dijelaskan bahwa Bani Israil enggan diperintah oleh Allah agar berpedoman kepada kitab Taurat yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Musa. mereka bahkan telah dua kali membuat kerusakan di bumi Palestina atau Baitul Maqdis. Meskipun demikian, Allah tidak segera menjatuhkan siksa pada Bani Israel. Dengan demikian, mereka akan tetap menyombongkan diri.
2. QS. Al Maidah ayat 21
يٰقَوۡمِ ادۡخُلُوا الۡاَرۡضَ الۡمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِىۡ كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ وَلَا تَرۡتَدُّوۡا عَلٰٓى اَدۡبَارِكُمۡ فَتَـنۡقَلِبُوۡا خٰسِرِيۡنَ
Artinya: Wahai kaumku! Masuklah ke tanah suci (Palestina) yang telah ditentukan Allah bagimu, dan janganlah kamu berbalik ke belakang (karena takut kepada musuh), nanti kamu menjadi orang yang rugi.
Dilansir dari situs Kemenag, ayat tersebut berisi tentang peringatan Nabi Musa kepada Bani israil agar memasuki tanah suci Kanaan untuk berdiam di negeri yang telah dijanjikan dan ditetapkan Allah untuk menjadi tempat tinggal mereka. Menurut riwayat Ibnu 'Asakir dari Mu'adz bin Jabal, tanah suci yang dimaksud itu ada di antara sungai Tigris dengan sungai Furat, yaitu Palestina.
Tanah itu dianggap suci karena banyak Nabi yang diutus di sana untuk menyebarkan ajaran Allah, sehingga tanah itu bersih dari patung-patung dan kepercayaan yang sesat. Nabi Musa juga melarang Bani Israel kembali menyembah berhala jika tidak mau nikmat-nikmat yang diberikan Allah dibatalkan.
3. QS. Al A’raf ayat 137
وَاَوۡرَثۡنَا الۡـقَوۡمَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَانُوۡا يُسۡتَضۡعَفُوۡنَ مَشَارِقَ الۡاَرۡضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِىۡ بٰرَكۡنَا فِيۡهَا ؕ وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الۡحُسۡنٰى عَلٰى بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَاۤءِيۡلَۙ بِمَا صَبَرُوۡا ؕ وَدَمَّرۡنَا مَا كَانَ يَصۡنَعُ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَقَوۡمُهٗ وَمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡرِشُوۡنَ
Artinya: Dan Kami wariskan kepada kaum yang tertindas itu, bumi bagian timur dan bagian baratnya yang telah Kami berkahi. Dan telah sempurnalah firman Tuhanmu yang baik itu (sebagai janji) untuk Bani Israil disebabkan kesabaran mereka. Dan Kami hancurkan apa yang telah dibuat Fir‘aun dan kaumnya dan apa yang telah mereka bangun.
Dalam ayat di atas dijelaskan bahwa Bani Israil akhirnya menerima nikmat Allah setelah ditindas oleh Firaun dan kaumnya. Nikmat tersebut adalah mewarisi kawasan barat dan timur yang subur dan diberkahi Allah.
Oleh karena itu, Allah mengutus Nabi Musa untuk membebaskan mereka dari perbudakan Firaun, dan mengeluarkan Bani Israil dari negeri Mesir. Setelah Bani Israil berada di Palestina, Allah menepati janjiNya dengan menghancurkan Firaun dan pengikutnya. Demikian beberapa ayat Alquran tentang Israel dan Palestina. Wallahu a’lam.
