Israeli Zionists' fears of facing the end times are well founded. This fear arose when we heard the news from the Prophet ﷺ about the condition of the Jews before the Day of Judgment.
In order to maintain the survival and sovereignty of the Jewish people, Israel is busy planting Gharqad Trees (الْغَرْقَدَ) as their hiding place when the end-time war occurs.
In the Qur'an, the Children of Israel are described as a people who are disobedient, cowardly, stubborn, always hiding the truth and disobedient to their Prophet. That is also why Allah forbade the holy land of Palestine (Cana'an) for them to inhabit at the time of the Prophet Moses. (Surah Al-Maidah Verse 26)
Hadith that scares the Jewish people
Regarding this Gharqad tree, here is the Prophet's Prophecy which was narrated by Abu from Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu. This Prophet's prophecy is a Hadith that is greatly feared by the Jews. Rasulullah ﷺ said:
God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلَ الْمُس God bless you ِئَ الْيَهُودِيُّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحَجَرِ وَالشَّجَرِ فَيَقُولُ ال ْحَجَرُ أَوْ الشَّجَرُ يَا مُسْلِمُ يَاعَبْدَ اللَّهِ هَذَا يَهُم لَّا الْغَرْقَدَ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْيَهُودِ
Meaning: "The Hour will not happen until the Muslims fight the Jews, then the Muslims will kill them until every Jew hides behind rocks and trees, but the rocks and trees say: "O Muslim, O servant of Allah, here is a person Jew behind me,come here and kill him." Except (the tree) Gharqad for it is a Jewish tree." (HR Al-Bukhari, Muslim)
Towards the Apocalypse, there will be a terrible war between Muslims and Jews (followers of the Dajjal). In the Journal of Islamic Studies entitled "Hadiths that Frighten Jews" by Utang Ranuwijaya (IAIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, 2016), the story of Anne Marie Oliver and Paul F Steinberg, two authors of the book "The Road to Martyrs Square: A Journey into the World of the Suicide Bomber"conducted direct studies in Palestine and Israel to explore the Gharqad tree.
The two of them interviewed a number of Hamas leaders, including Sheikh Ahmad Yasin during his lifetime. The two also went to Israel in search of the Gharqad tree and Jewish beliefs about the tree. From interviews with a number of Hamas sheikhs, Anne Marie Oliver and Paul F Steinberg learned that according to the Hadith of the Prophet, in the future Muslims will fight the Jews. Ketakutan zionis Israel menghadapi akhir zaman ternyata sangat beralasan. Ketakutan ini muncul ketika mendengar kabar Nubuwah Nabi ﷺ tentang keadaan kaum Yahudi menjelang Hari Kiamat.
Demi memelihara kelangsungan hidup dan kedaulatan umat Yahudi, Israel ramai-ramai menanam Pohon Gharqad (الْغَرْقَدَ) sebagai tempat persembunyian mereka ketika terjadi perang akhir zaman.
Dalam Al-Qur'an, Bani Israil memang digambarkan sebagai umat yang suka membangkang, pengecut, keras kepala, selalu menyembunyikan kebenaran dan durhaka kepada Nabinya. Itu pula sebabnya Allah pernah mengharamkan tanah suci Palestina (Kana'an) untuk mereka tempati di zaman Nabi Musa. (Surat Al-Maidah Ayat 26)
Hadis yang Menakutkan Umat Yahudi
Tentang pohon Gharqad ini, berikut Nubuwah Nabi yang diriwayatkan Abu dari Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu. Nubuwah Nabi ini merupakan Hadis yang sangat ditakuti kaum Yuhudi. Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ الْيَهُودَ فَيَقْتُلُهُمْ الْمُسْلِمُونَ حَتَّى يَخْتَبِئَ الْيَهُودِيُّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحَجَرِ وَالشَّجَرِ فَيَقُولُ الْحَجَرُ أَوْ الشَّجَرُ يَا مُسْلِمُ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ هَذَا يَهُودِيٌّ خَلْفِي فَتَعَالَ فَاقْتُلْهُ إِلَّا الْغَرْقَدَ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْيَهُودِ
Artinya: "Kiamat tidak akan terjadi sehingga kaum Muslimin memerangi Yahudi, lalu kaum Muslimin akan membunuh mereka sampai-sampai setiap orang Yahudi bersembunyi di balik batu dan pohon, tetapi batu dan pohon itu berkata: "Wahai Muslim, wahai hamba Allah, ini ada orang Yahudi di belakangku, kemarilah dan bunuhlah dia." Kecuali (pohon) Gharqad karena ia adalah pohon Yahudi." (HR Al-Bukhari, Muslim)
Menjelang Kiamat nanti terjadi perang dahsyat antara kaum Muslim dan Yahudi (pengikut Dajjal). Ketika itu teknologi tidak berfungsi lagi alias musnah karena hilangnya sumber elektrik. Dalam perang itu kaum Yahudi akan lari ketakutan kemudian mencari tempat persembunyian di balik batu dan pohon-pohon besar.
Semua batu dan pohon akan berbicara memberitahukan persembunyian umat Yahudi. Akan tetapi ada satu pohon yaitu Gharqad yang tetap diam ketika kaum Yahudi bersembunyi di balik pokoknya. Sehingga umat Muslim tidak mengetahui keberadaannya.
Dalam Jurnal Kajian Keislaman berjudul "Hadis yang Menakutkan Yahudi" karya Utang Ranuwijaya (IAIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, 2016) diceritakan, kisah Anne Marie Oliver dan Paul F Steinberg, dua penulis buku "The Road to Martyrs Square: A Journey into the World of the Suicide Bomber" melakukan studi langsung ke Palestina dan Israel untuk menelusuri pohon Gharqad.
Keduanya mewawancarai sejumlah pemimpin Hamas, termasuk Syaikh Ahmad Yasin semasa hidup beliau. Keduanya juga pergi ke Israel untuk mencari pohon Gharqad dan keyakinan orang-orang Yahudi tentang pohon tersebut. Dari wawancara dengan sejumlah Syaikh Hamas, Anne Marie Oliver dan Paul F Steinberg mengetahui bahwa menurut Hadits Nabi, kelak orang Islam akan memerangi orang-orang Yahudi. Pada peperangan akhir zaman itu, semua pihak akan menunjukkan tempat persembunyian orang Yahudi hingga batu-batu pun akan berbicara kecuali pohon Gharqad. Pohon Gharqad dikenal sebagai Pohon orang Yahudi.
Anne Marie Oliver dan Paul F Steinberg lantas pergi ke Israel. Orang-orang Yahudi yang ditanyai tentang pohon Gharqad, mereka tersenyum sambil menatap serius seperti terbongkarnya sebuah rahasia. "Kami diberitahu untuk ke sana dan ke sini, untuk menemukan pohon tersebut," tutur Anne Marie Oliver.
Banyak versi pohon Gharqad menurut informasi orang-orang Yahudi Israel yang ditemui Anne Marie Oliver dan Paul F Steinberg. Ada yang menunjukkan bahwa pohon Gharqad bisa ditemukan di gerbang Jaffa, ada yang mengatakan pohon Gharqad adalah semak-semak, hingga ada yang mengatakan bahwa pohon Gharqad hanyalah simbol metafora.
Akhirnya pendiri Hamas itu membawa keduanya ke belakang rumah dan menunjukkan contoh pohon Gharqad. Dan ternyata, pohon yang lebat dan berduri itu kini telah ditanam mengelilingi permukiman Israel.
Israel menanam jutaan pohon Gharqad di seluruh dunia termasuk Israel. Mengapa mereka banyak menanam Pohon Gharqad? Dalam Hadits disebutkan bahwa hanya Pohon Gharqad ini yang menjadi tempat persembunyian orang Yahudi saat perang akhir zaman.
5 Juta Pohon Gharqad Ditanam Pada Tahun 2030
Dalam satu ulasan yang dilansir dari preoccupiedterritory bahwa JNF telah menanam Gharqad di hutan Yerusalem. Ketua Direktorat JNF, Danny Atar, mengumumkan bahwa dewan tersebut telah memberikan suara mayoritas untuk beralih dari ketergantungan pada pohon pinus dan beralih ke jenis kayu Boxwood lokal yang disebut Gharqad dalam bahasa Arab. Pohon ini diyakini memiliki sifat yang akan membantu orang Yahudi menyembunyikan diri dari ancaman Muslim di akhir zaman.
"Tentu saja tanah itu penting sejauh ia ikut serta dalam pemeliharaan kelangsungan hidup dan kedaulatan Yahudi. Oleh karena itu Direktorat telah memutuskan untuk berinvestasi pada Gharqad, yang tidak akan mengkhianati kita di hadapan umat Islam." kata Atar.
JNF yang didirikan pada tahun 1901, telah menanam lebih dari 250 juta pohon di tanah Israel, dan mengelola hutan negara itu atas nama Kementerian Pertanian. Dana JNF sebagian besar berasal dari organisasi afiliasi di luar negeri, dengan penyumbang terbesar JNF-USA. Ciri-ciri Pohon Gharqad

POHON gharqad disebut-sebut menjadi tempat persembunyian kaum Yahudi pada akhir zaman kelak. Pohon ini pun dikabarkan banyak ditanam oleh orang-orang Israel yang memang banyak memeluk Yahudi.
Warga Israel menanam pohon gharqad di sekeliling permukiman di Tepi Barat dan daerah Gaza untuk melindungi dari serangan. Pohon ini juga ditanam di sekitar Gerbang Herodus.
Gharqad adalah sejenis pohon berduri yang banyak di Palestina. Ada pula yang mengatakan gharqad sebenarnya bukanlah pohon, tapi semak-semak yang bisa ditemukan di luar Gerbang Jaffa, Yerusalem.
Sejarah Pohon Gharqad
Dikutip dari Almanhaj.org, Ustadz Abu Humaid Arif Syarifuddin Lc menyatakan sejarah pohon gharqad dijelaskan dalam hadits Rasulullah Shallallahu alaihi wassallam. Beliau bersabda:
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ الْيَهُودَ فَيَقْتُلُهُمْ الْمُسْلِمُونَ حَتَّى يَخْتَبِئَ الْيَهُودِيُّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحَجَرِ وَالشَّجَرِ فَيَقُولُ الْحَجَرُ أَوْ الشَّجَرُ يَا مُسْلِمُ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ هَذَا يَهُودِيٌّ خَلْفِي فَتَعَالَ فَاقْتُلْهُ إِلَّا الْغَرْقَدَ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْيَهُودِ

Dalam hadits tersebut dijelaskan bahwa salah satu tanda kiamat adalah terjadinya peperangan hebat antara kaum Muslim dengan Yahudi (pasukan Dajjal). Diceritakan dalam riwayat, ketika itu kaum Yahudi lari ketakutan kemudian mencari tempat persembunyian di balik batu hingga pohon-pohon besar.
Namun semua benda dan makhluk hidup ciptaan Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala itu akan berbicara memberitahukan keadaan mereka. Akan tetapi, ada satu pohon yaitu gharqad yang tetap diam ketika ada kaum Yahudi bersembunyi di balik batangnya. Sehingga, umat Islam tidak mengetahui keberadaan mereka.
