DPR Commission VII Member Questions Ahok's Salary of IDR 8.3 Billion: If True, Ironic and Becomes Public Mockery

The salary of the Main Commissioner of PT Pertamina, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok, which went viral, reached IDR 8.3 billion per month, making a member of Commission VII DPR RI Mulyanto urge Pertamina to immediately clarify the news. 

"If this news is true, then it's really ironic. And this became the subject of public ridicule. Moreover, Pertamina's Managing Director has just stated that last year (2022) Pertamina achieved the biggest profit in history. 

In accordance with the constitution, the natural wealth controlled by the state must be used as much as possible for the prosperity of the people. Not the prosperity of a few people, the management of BUMN Oil and Gas," said Mulyanto, Wednesday (2/8/2023). 

Because of this, this politician from the PKS faction hopes that PT Pertamina will not only clarify the news, but also ask the Indonesian BPK (financial audit agency) to examine (audit) Pertamina's budget, whether it is in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. 

Don't let state revenues from natural resources be enjoyed and become bankroll for a handful of rulers. "This hurts our sense of justice, in the midst of people who have difficulty getting subsidized 3 kg melon gas and fuel prices that are rising again," said Mulyanto as quoted from dpr.go.id. 

As is well known, there has been a lot of news about the Main Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), who is still holding the position of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama based on the Decree of the Minister of BUMN Number SK-211/MBU/07/2023 dated 25 July 2023, regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Company's Board of Commissioners(Persero) PT Pertamina. 

With the position of Main Commissioner of BUMN Oil and Gas, Ahok will receive a salary of up to IDR 8.36 billion per month. This amount is far more than what Ahok received in the previous year of IDR 34.3 billion per year or around IDR 2.8 billion per month.

Gaji Komisaris Utama PT Pertamina Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok yang viral mencapai Rp8,3 Miliar per bulan, membuat anggota Komisi VII DPR RI Mulyanto mendesak Pertamina untuk segera mengklarifikasi  pemberitaan tersebut. 

“Kalau berita ini benar, maka sungguh ironis sekali. Dan ini menjadi bahan ejekan publik. Apalagi Dirut Pertamina baru saja menyatakan, bahwa tahun lalu (2022) Pertamina mencapai keuntungan terbesar sepanjang sejarah. 

Sesuai konstitusi, kekayaan alam yang dikuasai negara harus digunakan sebesar-besarnya bagi kemakmuran rakyat. Bukan kemakmuran segelintir orang, para pengurus BUMN Migas,” ujar Mulyanto, Rabu (2/8/2023).

Karena itu Politisi dari Fraksi PKS ini berharap PT Pertamina, bukan hanya mengklarifikasi berita tersebut, tapi juga juga minta BPK (Badan pemeriksa keuangan) RI memeriksa (audit) anggaran Pertamina, apakah sudah sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan yang berlaku. 

Jangan sampai penerimaan negara dari sumber daya alam dinikmati dan menjadi bancakan segelintir penguasa. “Ini melukai rasa keadilan kita, di tengah masyarakat yang kesulitan mendapatkan gas melon 3 kg bersubsidi dan harga BBM yang kembali naik,” tegas Mulyanto dikutip dari dpr.go.id.

Sebagaimana diketahui, ramai pemberitaan Komisaris Utama PT Pertamina (Persero) yang masih dijabat oleh Basuki Tjahaja Purnama berdasarkan surat Keputusan Menteri BUMN Nomor SK-211/MBU/07/2023 tanggal 25 Juli 2023, tentang Pemberhentian dan Pengangkatan Anggota Dewan Komisaris Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Pertamina. 

Dengan jabatan Komisaris Utama BUMN Migas itu, Ahok akan menerima gaji hingga Rp8,36 Miliar per bulan. Jumlah ini jauh lebih dari yang Ahok terima pada tahun sebelumnya sebesar Rp34,3 miliar per tahun atau sekitar Rp2,8 miliar per bulan.
