Thailand Punished More Severely Due to Brutal Action Against Indonesia

 -- The Disciplinary Committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) imposed heavier sanctions on Thailand due to the commotion that occurred against Indonesia in the 2023 SEA Games final. 
Komdis AFC has issued a decision on Wednesday (12/7). In its decision, the AFC not only punished players, coaching staff and officials but also the Thai Football Federation (FAT). 
Thailand goalkeeper Soponwit Rakyart, goalkeeping coach Prasobchoke Chokemor, Pattarawut Wongsriphuek (official) and Mayeid Mad-Adam (official) were sanctioned with a team ban for six matches and a US$1,000 fine or around IDR 14 million. The four individuals were found to have committed serious violations of Article 47 of the AFC Code of Discipline and Ethics.

Three other Thai players also did not escape sanctions for being involved in the commotion. The three players are Chayapipat Supunpasuch, Puracchet Todsanit, and Thirapak Prueangna. 
All three were suspended for six games. The same sanction was also imposed on assistant coach Bamrung Boonprom. 
The AFC sanctions against Thailand don't stop there. The AFC also fined FAT US$10,000 (Rp 149 million) for violating article 51.1 of the AFC Code of Discipline and Ethics. 
Meanwhile, sanctions were also given by the AFC to Indonesia. It's just that sanctions were imposed on players, coaching staff and officials.

 -- Komite Disiplin Konfederasi Sepak Bola Asia (AFC) menjatuhkan sanksi lebih berat kepada Thailand karena keributan yang terjadi melawan Indonesia di final SEA Games 2023.
Komdis AFC telah mengeluarkan putusan pada Rabu (12/7). Dalam putusannya, AFC bukan saja menghukum pemain, staf pelatih, dan ofisial tetapi juga Federasi Sepak Bola Thailand (FAT).
Kiper Thailand Soponwit Rakyart, pelatih kiper Prasobchoke Chokemor, Pattarawut Wongsriphuek (ofisial), dan Mayeid Mad-Adam (ofisial) disanksi larangan bersama tim selama enam pertandingan dan denda US$1000 atau sekitar Rp14 juta. Keempat orang ini dinyatakan melakukan pelanggaran serius terhadap Pasal 47 Kode Disiplin dan Etik AFC.

Tiga pemain Thailand lainnya juga tidak luput dari sanksi karena terlibat dalam keributan. Ketiga pemain itu adalah Chayapipat Supunpasuch, Puracchet Todsanit, dan Thirapak Prueangna.
Ketiga dihukum larangan bermain selama enam pertandingan. Sanksi yang sama juga dijatuhkan kepada asisten pelatih Bamrung Boonprom.
Sanksi AFC untuk Thailand tidak berhenti sampai di sana. AFC juga menjatuhkan hukuman denda US$10.000 (Rp149 juta) kepada FAT karena melanggar pasal 51.1 Kode Disiplin dan Etik AFC.
Sementara itu, sanksi juga diberikan AFC kepada Indonesia. Hanya saja sanksi itu dijatuhkan kepada pemain, staf pelatih, dan ofisial.
