Anies: We are not afraid of the material, we show spiritual strength
The Vice President of the Coalition for Change, Anies Baswedan, once again mentioned his political opponents who have the opportunity to run for president in the 2024 elections. Anies emphasized that he would not be afraid of his big opponents in terms of material and resources.
This was conveyed by Anies at the Indonesia Mandate Volunteer Declaration (ANIES) event at GBK Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday (7/5/2023). Anies and the top officials of the supporting party, namely NasDem, Democrats, PKS, were present in person at the volunteer event.
"Struggling forward, we want to straighten the path. And straightening this path, we are dealing with a competition. Competition for ideas, competition for plans, track records," Anies said in his speech.
Anies then again mentioned the big opponents he will face in the competition in 2024. According to him, these big opponents can dominate the competition.
"And in this competition we will face opponents who have enormous resources. Opponents who have enormous strength, who can dominate," he said.
However, Anies believes that he will succeed in facing the 2024 elections. Amid his supporters, he calls for not being afraid of his opponents who have large material dimensions. Anies asked his supporters to show spiritual strength.
"But we believe in good intentions, with good people, good goals, God willing, Allah will open doors for success. We are never afraid of material measures. We will show the spiritual strength we have," he said.
According to him, the 2024 election is not about victory in the hands of one party, but about determining the fate of the nation.
"This is not about one person, this is not about one party, this is about the future destiny of our nation and the children of our nation," he added.
Anies: Kita Tak Gentar dengan Material, Kita Tunjukkan Kekuatan Spiritual
Bacapres Koalisi Perubahan, Anies Baswedan, kembali menyinggung lawan politiknya yang berpeluang maju capres di Pemilu 2024. Anies menegaskan tak akan gentar dengan lawan-lawannya yang besar dalam ukuran material dan sumber daya.
Hal ini disampaikan Anies dalam acara deklarasi relawan Amanat Indonesia (ANIES) di GBK Senayan, Jakarta, Minggu (7/5/2023). Anies dan para petinggi partai pengusungnya, yakni NasDem, Demokrat, PKS, hadir secara langsung di acara relawan itu.
"Perjuangan ke depan, kita ingin luruskan jalan. Dan meluruskan jalan ini, kita berhadapan dengan sebuah kompetisi. Kompetisi gagasan, kompetisi rencana, rekam jejak," kata Anies dalam pidatonya.
Anies lalu kembali menyinggung lawan besar yang akan dihadapinya dalam kompetisi di 2024. Menurutnya, lawan-lawan besar itu dapat mendominasi kompetisi.
"Dan dalam kompetisi ini kita akan berhadapan dengan lawan yang memiliki sumber daya yang luar biasa besar. Lawan yang memiliki kekuatan yang sangat besar, yang bisa mendominasi," katanya.
Meski demikian, Anies meyakini akan berhasil menghadapi Pemilu 2024. Di tengah para pendukungnya, dia menyerukan tak gentar dengan lawannya yang memiliki ukuran material besar. Anies mengajak pendukungnya agar menunjukkan kekuatan spiritual.
"Tapi kita yakin niat baik, bersama orang baik, tujuan baik, insyaAllah Allah bukakan pintu-pintu untuk keberhasilan. Kita tidak pernah gentar dengan ukuran material. Kita akan tunjukkan kekuatan spiritual yang kita miliki," katanya.
Menurutnya, Pemilu 2024 bukan soal kemenangan di tangan satu pihak, melainkan penentuan nasib bagi bangsa.
"Ini bukan tentang satu orang, ini bukan tentang satu partai, ini adalah tentang nasib masa depan bangsa kita dan anak-anak dari bangsa kita," imbuh dia.
