REMINDER FOR ID PRAYER COMMITTEE

Prayers for the holidays must be truly guarded and their implementation paid attention to, so that this great worship can be attended by all congregations with a feeling of humility and reverence.
So the committee as the organizer, must try to minimize everything that could potentially disrupt or disturb the course of the worship.
And what often goes unnoticed is the holding of the Eid prayer which is too long. If the prayer is held in the mosque, you are still quite lucky because the heat is slightly relieved by the presence of a fan. Those who are full of suffering are when they are in the field, or those who participate in prayers at the mosque but get it in the yard.
It's true that the Prophet ï·º used to pray his Eid prayers in the field, but the implementation was very simple, there weren't many events. Unlike us today, people are full of various agendas.
The sun was already quite high, but the implementation of the Eid prayer series had not yet been completed. If this is the case, the congregation will become distraught, no longer devoted to listening to the advice conveyed by the preacher on the pulpit.
There are various factors for the late id prayer. It could be because the khatib forgot the time, the sermon, which had a sunnah that was concise and clear, turned into a free class lecture. But quite a lot of this is also caused by too many additional events, crowded greetings or the MC being too long-winded.
If the preacher is the cause, there's nothing wrong with the committee reminding from the start that the duration of the sermon is adjusted.
Likewise the MC and the presenters need to be anticipated so they don't get in the way of delivering the foreword, because not a few of them tend to unknowingly take over the task of preaching the sermon.
Including government officials who are usually tasked with reading the regional head's welcome letter, it must be confirmed that the duration of the speech can be adjusted accordingly. At least when reading fluently without stammering.

PENGINGAT UNTUK PANITIA SHALAT ID

Shalat hari raya harus benar-benar dijaga dan diperhatikan pelaksanaannya, agar ibadah yang agung ini bisa diikuti oleh segenap jamaah dengan perasaan khusyu dan hidmat.
Maka panitia sebagai penyelenggara, harus berupaya meminimalisir segala hal yang berpotensi bisa mengganggu atau mengusik jalannya ibadah tersebut.
Dan yang sering luput dari perhatian adalah penyelenggaraan shalat Id yang terlalu lama.
Jika shalat di adakan di masjid masih lumayan beruntung karena hawa panas sedikit teratasi dengan adanya kipas. Yang full menderita itu jika berada di tanah lapang, atau yang ikut shalat di masjid tapi kebagian di halamannya.
Betul Nabi ï·º dulu shalat hari rayanya dikerjakan di lapangan, tapi pelaksanaannya sangat simpel, nggak banyak aneka acara. Beda dengan kita hari ini, padat merayap oleh agenda macam-macam.
Matahari sudah lumayan meninggi, tapi pelaksanaan rangkaian shalat Id belum juga selesai. Kalau sudah begini, jama’ah menjadi belingsatan, tidak khusyu’ lagi menyimak nasehat yang disampaikan oleh khatib diatas mimbar.
Faktor molornya shalat id memang beragam. Bisa jadi karena khatibnya lupa waktu, khutbah yang sunnahnya ringkas dan jelas berubah menjadi kuliah kelas bebas. Tapi tidak sedikit juga ini disebabkan karena terlalu banyaknya tambahan acara, sambutan berjubel atau MC nya terlalu bertele-tele.
Jika khatib penyebabnya, tidak ada salahnya panitia mengingatkan sedari awal agar durasi khutbah disesuaikan.
Demikian juga MC dan para pemberi sambutan perlu diantisipasi agar tidak malang melintang menyampaikan prakata, karena tidak sedikit dari mereka yang suka tidak sadar mengambil alih tugas khatib menyampaikan khutbah.
Termasuk pejabat pemerintah yang biasanya bertugas membacakan surat sambutan kepala daerah, harus benar-benar terkonfirmasi bahwa durasi sambutan bisa menyesuaikan. Minimal yang ketika membaca lancar jaya tak pakai terbata-bata.
Semoga tulisan sederhana ini bermanfaat. Tidak mengapa kita menjadi sedikit lebih repot, daripada jama’ah dan umat yang justru dikorbankan. Wallahu a’lam.
