SAHUR WITH DATES
Regarding the sunnah of breaking the fast with dates, many know and practice it, but few people who fast when eating their sahur include dates in their dishes.
Even though the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihi wassalam also recommended it in his words:
Ù†ِعْÙ…َ سَØُورُ الْÙ…ُؤْÙ…ِÙ†ِ التَّÙ…ْرُ
"The best meal for a believer is dates." (Narrated by Abu Dawud)
