When the political parties supporting Anies "Say Goodbye" to the PDI-P

PDI-P appears to be increasingly assertive in drawing a line between political parties (partpol) supporting Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate (candidate). 

Initially, PDI-P politician Masinton Pasaribu said that the Bull Party would not form a coalition with the potential Change Coalition being explored by the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the Nasdem Party, and the Democratic Party. 

This was further emphasized by the statement of the Secretary General of PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto when met at the Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Thursday (23/2/2023). 

"Joining a coalition. That means joining a coalition that does not carry Pak Jokowi's antithesis, so we are clearly different from Nasdem, Democrats, PKS which have carried Mr. Anies Baswedan," he said. 

Meanwhile, Nasdem, PKS, and Democrats have also indicated their resistance to working with the party founded by Megawati Soekarnoputri. 

PKS says goodbye

PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi said goodbye to PDI-P after his party officially declared Anies as a presidential candidate, Thursday. 

"Okay, goodbye," Aboe said when met at the PKS DPP office, Jalan TB Simaputang, South Jakarta. 

He admitted that he was not bothered and allowed the public to enjoy the various narrations put forward by Hasto. 

Aboe is optimistic that many parties will support PKS and Anies in the upcoming electoral contest. 

"Let the people enjoy his words. Let this country be with the PKS chosen by the PKS," he said. 

No need to worry

Meanwhile, Democratic Party Spokesperson Coordinator Herzaky Mahendra Putra asked PDI-P not to worry about the potential Coalition for Change. 

According to him, if the PDI-P and the current government feel that they have fought for change, there is no need to burn their heads with the enthusiasm of the three political parties supporting Anies. 

"Those who are usually allergic and worried about these changes are groups that support the status quo," said Herzaky when contacted Friday (17/2/2023). 

He considered that the current administration was not sufficient for the welfare of the people because the prices of various basic commodities had increased. 

Likewise, he continued, Indonesia's corruption perception index (CPI) for 2022 has decreased from 38th to 34th. 

Herzaky claimed that the conditions for enforcing corruption were better during the administration of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). 

"Even though SBY managed to increase from 20 in 2004 to 34 in 2014," he said. 

Nasdem doesn't care

Then the Head of the DPP for Election Winning (Bappilu) of the Nasdem Party Effendi Choirie was reluctant to give a damn about the PDI-P's stance. 

He expressed respect for the political stance of the bull party. 

However, Effendi reminded that ahead of the 2024 election, it is better for political parties to provide positive narratives rather than divisions. 

“Offering solutions to solve this nation's problems. Not indulgence in insults and slander," he added. 

Ketika Parpol Pengusung Anies "Say Goodbye" kepada PDI-P

PDI-P tampak kian tegas memberikan garis pembatas pada partai politik (parpol) pengusung Anies Baswedan sebagai calon presiden (capres).

Mulanya, politisi PDI-P Masinton Pasaribu menyampaikan partai banteng tak akan berkoalisi dengan bakal Koalisi Perubahan yang dijajaki oleh Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Nasdem, dan Partai Demokrat.

Hal itu kian dipertegas oleh pernyataan Sekretaris Jenderal PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto saat ditemui di Sekolah Partai, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Kamis (23/2/2023).

"Bergabung dengan koalisi. Itu maksudnya bergabung dengan koalisi yang tidak mengusung antitesa Pak Jokowi, sehingga kami jelas berbeda dengan Nasdem, Demokrat, PKS yang telah mengusung Bapak Anies Baswedan," ucap dia.

Sementara itu Nasdem, PKS, dan Demokrat juga telah menyiratkan resistensi untuk bekerja sama dengan partai besutan Megawati Soekarnoputri tersebut.

PKS ucapkan selamat tinggal

Sekjen PKS Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi mengucapkan selama tinggal pada PDI-P pasca pihaknya resmi mendeklarasikan Anies sebagai capres, Kamis.

“Oke, selamat tinggal,” sebut Aboe ditemui di kantor DPP PKS, Jalan TB Simaputang, Jakarta Selatan.

Ia mengaku tak ambil pusing dan mempersilahkan masyarakat yang mau menikmati berbagai narasi yang dilontarkan Hasto.

Aboe optimistis banyak pihak akan mendukung PKS dan Anies dalam kontestasi elektoral mendatang.

"Biarkan rakyat menikmati kata-katanya. Biarkanlah negara ini bersama dengan PKS yang dipilih PKS," katanya.

Tak perlu khawatir

Sementara, Koordinator Juru Bicara Partai Demokrat Herzaky Mahendra Putra meminta PDI-P tak perlu khawatir dengan bakal Koalisi Perubahan.

Menurutnya, jika PDI-P dan pemerintah saat ini telah merasa sudah memperjuangkan perubahan tak perlu kebakaran jenggot dengan semangat tiga parpol pengusung Anies.

“Yang biasanya alergi, dan khawatir dengan perubahan itu adalah kelompok-kelompok pendukung status quo,” tutur Herzaky dihubungi Jumat (17/2/2023).

Ia menilai pemerintahan saat ini tak cukup menyejahterakan masyarakat karena berbagai harga bahan pokok meningkat.

Begitu pun, lanjut dia, indeks persepsi korupsi (IPK) Indonesia tahun 2022 yang mengalami penurunan dari posisi 38 ke peringkat 34.

Herzaky mengeklaim, kondisi penegakan korupsi lebih baik di era pemerintahan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

“Padahal SBY berhasil meningkatkan dari 20 di 2004 ke 34 di tahun 2014,” papar dia.

Nasdem tak ambil pusing

Kemudian Ketua DPP Bidang Pemenangan Pemilu (Bappilu) Partai Nasdem Effendi Choirie enggan ambil pusing atas sikap PDI-P.

Ia menyatakan menghormati sikap politik partai banteng itu.

Namun Effendi mengingatkan, jelang Pemilu 2024 lebih baik parpol memberikan narasi positif ketimbang perpecahan.

“Menawarkan solusi-solusi untuk menyelesaikan problem bangsa ini. Bukan mengumbar caci maki, dan fitnah,” imbuh dia.
