Google Introduces Gemini Live, Voice Chatting Feature

HOLIDAY NEWS - Google introduced a new feature called Gemini Live which is support for chatting and communicating in voice form with Gemini. 

As reported by the Daily Mail, users can use a number of voice options to communicate, where Gemini Live will identify the context, as well as chat with it to obtain various information. 

Roughly speaking, it provides generative artificial intelligence support to Gemini, but now you can input and receive results in the form of votes. 

Apart from being easy to access, Gemini Live can also be activated when the device is closed. 

But for now it is only offered in paid mode for Gemini Advance customers, and is limited to communication in English. 

Previously, Google Gemini launched Google Maps navigation in automatic mode. Gemini simplifies the process by automatically launching Google Maps and making it possible to navigate a preferred route in just seconds. 

To start navigating to a location with Gemini, simply launch the AI-powered digital assistant and use the “Go to [location]” or “Take me to [x]” commands. When a user tells Gemini where they want to go the system uses Google Maps integration to provide an overview of the route, distance to the destination, and how long it will take to get there. 

After a few seconds, the AI-powered assistant will automatically open Google Maps and start navigating. The updated Gemini app in the Google Play Store allows automatically sending voice commands, eliminating the need to tap the Send button. 

The Indian Express reports that the ability to start navigation to a specific location is new to Gemini, but Google Assistant has had this feature for years. The Google Gemini app is not available to everyone, but users can download its app file from a trusted third-party website, install on the device, and use it as a replacement for Google Assistant. 

Although the current AI-powered digital assistant lacks some features compared to Google Assistant, the company is making improvements by introducing new features and adding features already available for Google Assistant.

HOLIDAY NEWS - Google memperkenalkan fitur baru bernama Gemini Live yang merupakan dukungan untuk chatting dan berkomunikasi dalam bentuk suara dengan Gemini.

Seperti dilansir dari Daily Mail, pengguna dapat menggunakan sejumlah opsi suara untuk berkomunikasi, di mana Gemini Live akan mengidentifikasi konteks, serta mengobrol dengannya dalam memperoleh berbagai informasi.

Secara kasar, ini memberikan dukungan kecerdasan buatan generatif kepada Gemini, tetapi sekarang Anda dapat memasukkan dan menerima hasil dalam bentuk suara.

Selain mudah diakses, Gemini Live ini juga bisa diaktifkan saat perangkat dalam bentuk layar tertutup.

Namun untuk saat ini hanya ditawarkan dalam mode berbayar untuk pelanggan Gemini Advance, dan terbatas pada komunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris.

Sebelumnya, Google Gemini meluncurkan navigasi Google Maps dengan mode otomatis. Gemini menyederhanakan prosesnya dengan meluncurkan Google Maps secara otomatis dan memungkinkan menavigasi rute pilihan hanya dalam hitungan detik.

Untuk mulai bernavigasi ke suatu lokasi dengan Gemini, cukup luncurkan asisten digital bertenaga AI dan gunakan perintah "Pergi ke [lokasi]" atau "Bawa saya ke [x]". Saat pengguna memberi tahu Gemini ke mana ingin pergi sistemnya menggunakan integrasi Google Maps untuk memberi gambaran umum tentang rute, jarak ke tujuan, dan berapa lama waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk sampai ke sana.

Setelah beberapa detik, asisten yang didukung AI akan secara otomatis membuka Google Maps dan mulai bernavigasi. Aplikasi Gemini yang diperbarui di Google Play Store memungkinkan pengiriman perintah suara secara otomatis, sehingga tidak perlu lagi mengetuk tombol Kirim.

Indian Express melansir, kemampuan untuk memulai navigasi ke lokasi tertentu menjadi hal baru di Gemini , tetapi Asisten Google telah memiliki fitur ini selama bertahun-tahun. Aplikasi Google Gemini tidak tersedia untuk semua orang, tetapi pengguna dapat mengunduh file aplikasinya dari situs web pihak ketiga yang tepercaya, memasang di perangkat, dan menggunakannya sebagai pengganti Asisten Google.

Meskipun asisten digital bertenaga AI saat ini kekurangan beberapa fitur dibandingkan dengan Asisten Google, perusahaan melakukan peningkatan dengan memperkenalkan fitur-fitur baru dan menambahkan fitur-fitur yang sudah tersedia untuk Asisten Google.
