YouTube Premium Now Available in 10 More Countries
YouTube Premium is now expanding its coverage to 10 more countries.
Jakarta: YouTube users in 10 countries can finally subscribe to YouTube Premium. This paid service removes ads without using Google's anti-ad blocker tricks, and also allows users to download videos to play without the internet.
Apart from that, this paid service also allows users to play and listen to videos on the back screen. Quoting GSM Arena, 10 new countries that can enjoy YouTube Premium services include Azerbaijan, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Libya, Morocco, Reunion, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen and Zimbabwe.
As a paid service, users also have the opportunity to get it as part of the Google One package offering. This package is available in eight countries on the list above, except for Libya and Reunion.
Students in these 10 countries also have the opportunity to get a discount on the price of this service, via YouTube Student Membership. To be able to enjoy this special discount, users must be verified as students via SheerID.
For your information, YouTube Premium also provides ad-free access to YouTube Music, a music streaming service with a collection of 100 million songs, and users can download songs to listen to when not connected to the internet.

However, Google Maps still faces competition from other similar services, including Apple Maps, which is reported to be able to provide good performance regarding turning locations, when compared to Google Maps.
