IDR 271 Trillion Corruption, Harvey Moeis Threatened with Impoverishment, Sandra Dewi: It's Important to Have Enough to Eat

- The fate of the beautiful artist Sandra Dewi is now in the spotlight because her husband, Harvey Moeis, has been named a suspect in a corruption case in the tin commodity trading system in the PT Timah Tbk mining business permit (IUP) area from 2015 to 2022.

The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) named Harvey Moeis a suspect on Wednesday (27/3/2024). Sandra Dewi's husband is now being detained at the Attorney General's Detention Center for the next 20 days, in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP). Carrying out corruption that cost the state up to IDR 271 trillion, Harvey Moeis is threatened with impoverishment.

The assets of Harvey Moeis will soon be confiscated by the state.
The luxury house occupied by Harvey Moeis and Sandra Dewi will also be searched.

"Law enforcement, including the detention of the investigative team, will of course carry out efforts to confiscate the property of the suspects," said Ketut Sumedana, Head of the Attorney General's Office of the Penkum via zoom meeting, Thursday (28/3/2024). "Regarding property, confiscation and searches include other legal remedies," he said.

Harvey Moeis' assets that will be confiscated are equivalent to the losses borne by the state due to the actions of Sandra Dewi cs' husband. "I think this is how we confiscate these suspects as much as they have caused losses, how much they have enjoyed from state losses," explained Ketut Sumedana.

Meanwhile, regarding the possibility that Harvey Moeis and Sandra Dewi will be impoverished, the Attorney General's Office did not provide a clear answer.
"Yes, of course now the person concerned is in the process and efforts are underway," he concluded.

Now threatened with living in poverty, Sandra Dewi's remarks about money have gone viral again on social media.
Before her husband was arrested for a corruption case, Sandra Dewi once admitted to living without much wealth.

Sandra Dewi apparently conveyed this confession when she was a guest star on the Boy William Podcast. Initially, Sandra Dewi was asked by Boy William whether money was important to her. "Is money important? (Is money important?" asked Boy.
"Yes," answered Sandra immediately.

"Important too, only for me and my husband what is more important is family," explained Sandra. In Sandra's eyes, her life with a lot of money or a little money is the same. "Yes, with money, we actually live just like that, we eat three times a day. Being able to go for a walk is already good." "The money you were given was a bonus from God," he explained.
Sandra Dewi seems to have a hunch about Harvey Moeis' wealth, which turns out to be the result of corruption. (Instagram Sandra Dewi) In fact, Sandra is ready to live with little money.
"It's okay to give a little, the important thing is that it's enough to eat," he joked. Sandra said that her family's health was more important.

"The important thing is the family's health," he explained.
Sandra said at that moment that she and Harvey were not the type of people who liked to show off their wealth. Sandra admitted that she was embarrassed to do it because she met many people who were much richer than her.

"As for me, why didn't I choose to show it because I have met a lot of great and very rich people.

"So I thought, I have nothing to do with these great people," explained Sandra Dewi, quoted from YouTube Boy William, Friday (29/3/2024). This 40 year old actress is embarrassed to show off her assets which she considers not much.

"So to show off, continuing to show off your balance is embarrassing. What's the point?" he continued. In the eyes of Sandra Dewi, there are many great people who can act humble even though they are richer.
"These great people actually seem to be really humble, so I feel embarrassed ah," he added.
However, Sandra is reluctant to judge her fellow artists who like to show off their wealth.
"If they're comfortable, that's okay, if I'm not comfortable," he said.
