These are 7 things that hinder the arrival of good fortune, number 3 is often done
– Sustenance has been regulated by Allah, so there is no sustenance to be taken or exchanged by other people. This is because Allah has determined the level of sustenance for each person, even when humans are still in the womb.
The Prophet said, “Then an angel was sent to her (the fetus). The angel breathed his soul into him and was ordered to write four sentences (provisions that Allah had set for him), namely: (1) sustenance, (2) death, (3) good deeds and (4) (whether he will be among) those who wretched (go to hell) or happy people (go to hell). heaven)." (HR Muslim no. 6893).
This issue is our effort to obtain this sustenance in a way that is in accordance with the regulations of Islamic law. This shows that the Islamic religion does not teach Muslims to be silent and not work because everything has been destined by the Almighty.
If it has been determined, what prevents us from getting sustenance? The following are factors inhibiting the arrival of good fortune, reported by the Sinergi Foundation on Tuesday 26 March 2024:
1. Not guarding your tongue so that you criticize God's creation
Things that we should not blame are time, wind, rain, or other natural phenomena. Scorning this phenomenon is the same as sneering at its creator. A friend told Rasulullah SAW about his sustenance being scarce. The Apostle said, “Perhaps you have denounced the wind.”
2. Miser
Ibnu Abbas RA once said that refusing to give yeast causes poverty and being stingy in sharing water will only cause regret. It is also mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet that there are five things that must be shared, namely water, salt, fire, needles and yeast. If not shared, they will be prevented from goodness in the afterlife.
3. Sleeping too much
Apart from being bad for your health because it can interfere with metabolism and other health problems, sleeping in the morning can also hinder your sustenance. Because morning is the time when many doors of fortune are opened and people start their activities.
4. Doing injustice and immorality
People who act unjustly and often commit disobedience will definitely stop the path of sustenance, reduce the blessings of age, take away the light from their faces, and send them to the torment of hell.
5. Cheating
“Great disaster for those who cheat. (Namely) people who, when they receive a measure from someone else, ask for it to be fulfilled. And if they measure or weigh for someone else, they subtract. Don't these people believe that they will actually be resurrected? One big day. (That is) the day (when) humans stand facing the Rabb of the worlds." (QS Al Muthaffifin: 1-6)
6. Betrayal
The Prophet said in a story that betraying will bring poverty. On the other hand, commitment to keeping the mandate is an extraordinary magnetic force for sustenance.
7. Be greedy
Even though greed can accumulate a lot of worldly treasures, unfortunately these treasures will actually become a burden in the afterlife because good fortune should take its owner to heaven.
"Indeed, the dinar and the dirham have destroyed those before you and they will also destroy you." (HR Al Bazzar, V/51, no. 1612 with sanad jayyid).
