Not only that, the leader of Saudi Arabia also gifted 50 thousand copies of the Koran to Muslims in the country. The handover of this immeasurable donation was carried out by the Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia, Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Amoudi, to the Indonesian Deputy Minister of Religion (Wamenag) Saiful Rahmat Dasuki and the Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque, Nasaruddin Umar at the ST.Regis Hotel, Rasuna Said , South Jakarta.

On this occasion, Ambassador Al-Amoudi also conveyed greetings and congratulations on the holy month of Ramadan to Muslims in Indonesia.
Furthermore, he also prayed that the fasting of Muslims in Indonesia would be accepted and blessed by Allah SWT. According to the Saudi Arabian Embassy's Religious Attache to Indonesia, Sheikh Ahmed bin Essa Al-Hazmi, this fast breaking program will start at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, and will continue to various regions in Indonesia.
The total aid distributed included 20 tons of dates, 150 thousand boxes of fast-breaking food and 50 thousand copies of the Koran.

"Of course, this was given by King Salman and the Crown Prince for their concern for all Muslims in the world, including of course the Republic of Indonesia, how they can carry out their Ramadhan worship as well as possible," said the Saudi Ambassador, quoted by VIVA.co.id Wednesday, March 13 2024.
"Hopefully the reward for fasting will be received, blessings will be given," he said.
This large donation given by the King of Saudi Arabia is certainly clear proof of the cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia in supporting Muslims in Indonesia, especially in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan.

– Kabar mengejutkan datang dari Raja Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud dari Arab Saudi. Hal tersebut lantaran, menyambut momentum bulan suci Ramadhan pada beberapa hari lalu umat Muslim di Indonesia baru saja menerima sumbangan besar dari Raja Arab Saudi ketujuh ini.
Mengutip salah satu sumber pada Rabu, 13 Maret 2024 ini dikabarkan melalui Kementerian Urusan Islam, Dakwah dan Penyuluhan Arab Saudi bahwa Raja Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud telah menyumbangkan 20 ton kurma dan 150 boks makanan buka puasa untuk warga Muslim yang ada di Indonesia.
Tidak hanya itu saja, pemimpin Arab Saudi ini juga menghadiahkan 50 ribu mushaf Alquran bagi kaum Muslim di Tanah Air. Penyerahan sumbangan yang tak terkira ini dilakukan oleh Duta Besar (Dubes) Saudi untuk Indonesia, Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Amoudi kepada Wakil Menteri Agama (Wamenag) RI Saiful Rahmat Dasuki dan Imam Besar Masjid Istiqlal, Nasaruddin Umar di Hotel ST.Regis, Rasuna Said, Jakarta Selatan.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Dubes Al-Amoudi juga turut menyampaikan salam dan ucapan selamat menjalankan ibadah bulan suci Ramadhan kepada umat Muslim di Indonesia.
Lebih lanjut, ia juga turut mendoakan agar ibadah puasa umat Muslim di Indonesia diterima dan diberkahi oleh Allah SWT. Menurut Atase Agama Kedubes Arab Saudi untuk Indonesia, Syeikh Ahmed bin Essa Al-Hazmi adanya program buka puasa ini akan dimulai di Masjid Istiqlal, Jakarta, dan akan diteruskan ke berbagai wilayah yang di Indonesia.
Di mana adapun total keseluruhan bantuan yang disalurkan mencakup 20 ton kurma, 150 ribu boks makanan buka puasa, dan 50 ribu mushaf Alquran.

“Tentunya ini diberikan Raja Salman dan Putra Mahkota atas perhatian beliau terhadap seluruh umat islam di Dunia, termasuk tentunya Republik Indonesia, bagaimana mereka bisa menjalankan ibadah Ramadhan ini dengan sebaik-baiknya,” kata Dubes Saudi dikutip VIVA.co.id Rabu, 13 Maret 2024.
