Then there are things that users like, from sports to eating and drinking, where they work, where they live, to the videos they watch.

Types of Ads of Interest
Log in to your Google account, then click Manage Ads Settings. This method is to find out which advertising topics you like according to Google. It will contain data such as gender, age, and ads that have been blocked.
Places You've Visited
Google Locations History Page will show which locations the user has visited. This data is stored in the Google Maps platform.
YouTube Activity
You can also see activities carried out on YouTube. You can access this via the Search feature and also YouTube Watch.
How to turn off Google spying
However, users of Google services and products do not need to worry. This practice can be stopped easily. However, once the feature is turned off, users will no longer see relevant ads.
The search recommendations that are present are also less useful and the personal experience of using Google products will disappear.
Following are the steps to delete this information, as quoted from Cnet.
-Open the Google.com page from a desktop or mobile browser
-Log in to your Google account
-Select Manage your Google Account.
-On the -Privacy & Personalization menu, select Manage your Data & Personalization
-There will be Activity Controls by scrolling the screen down, next select Manage your Activity Controls
-Next you will see a box called Web & App Activity, slide the toggle to turn it off
-Later there will be a notification ensuring the user understands what is being done by deactivating the setting
-Select Pause
It should be noted, this method does not mean that the stored tracking data will be deleted. Google won't delete it, but it will no longer retain the information once the feature is turned off.

Masuk ke akun Google, lalu klik Manage Ads Settings. Cara ini untuk mengetahui topik iklan yang kamu sukai menurut Google. Di dalamnya akan tertera data seperti jenis kelamin, umur, dan iklan yang pernah diblokir.
Tempat yang Pernah Dikunjungi
Google Locations History Page akan menunjukkan lokasi mana saja yang pernah pengguna kunjungi. Data ini tersimpan di dalam platform Google Maps.
Aktivitas YouTube
Kamu juga bisa melihat aktivitas yang dilakukan di dalam YouTube. Caranya bisa mengakses lewat fitur Search dan juga YouTube Watch.
Cara mematikan mata-mata Google
Kendati demikian, pengguna layanan dan produk Google tidak perlu khawatir. Praktik ini bisa dihentikan dengan mudah. Hanya saja, setelah fitur dimatikan, pengguna tidak akan lagi melihat iklan yang relevan.
Rekomendasi penelusuran yang hadir juga kurang bermanfaat dan pengalaman personal menggunakan produk Google akan menghilang.
Berikut langkah-langkah menghapus informasi tersebut, sebagaimana dikutip dari Cnet.
-Buka laman Google.com dari browser desktop atau mobile
-Masuk ke akun Google yang dimiliki
-Pilih Manage your Google Account.
-Pada menu -Privacy & Personalization, pilih Manage your Data & Personalization
-Akan ada Activity Controls dengan scrolling layar ke bawah, berikutnya pilih Manage your Activity Controls
-Selanjutnya akan terlihat boks bernama Web & App Activity, geser toggle untuk mematikannya
-Nantinya akan ada pemberitahuan memastikan pengguna paham apa yang dilakukan dengan menonaktifkan pengaturan
-Pilih Pause
Perlu dicatat, cara tersebut bukan berarti data pelacakan yang tersimpan akan terhapus. Google tak akan menghapusnya, tetapi tidak akan lagi menyimpan informasi setelah fitur dimatikan.
