Jumlah tersebut termasuk dengan 130 penyerangan di permukaan utama, bahkan telah diperkirakan akan ada kapal induk Tiongkok yang mengapung pada 2030. Angkatan laut Tiongkok juga sudah mengembangkan rudal jelajah dan balistik untuk presisi jarak jauh, radar peringatan dini, dan dan juga sistem pertahanan udara untuk mendominasi wilayah udara ke arah Pasifik. Baru-baru ini, militer Tiongkok telah meluncurkan senjata hipersonik untuk menghadapi kelompok kapal induk milik militer Amerika Serikat.
Pada 2017, Presiden China Xi Jinping mengatakan bahwa dia memiliki target pada Tentara Pembebasan Rakyat (PLA) untuk menjadi militer kelas dunia yang memiliki kemampuan berperang dan dapat memenangkan perang global pada 2049.
4. Militer India
Menurut Global Fire Power, India memiliki kekuatan militer yang menduduki posisi 4 dari 139 negara lainnya. Dalam regional Asia, jika diurutkan India mendapatkan posisi kedua sebagai militer terkuat di Asia. Militer India memiliki kurang lebih 1.445.000 personel militer. Mereka juga terlibat dalam konflik teritorial yang berkepanjangan di Pakistan wilayah Kashmir.
Meski mendapat urutan keempat sebagai militer terkuat di dunia, India memiliki transportasi perang urutan pertama di dunia. Militer India memiliki tank yang berjumlah 4.730 unit, artileri derek 4.040 unit, dan juga pesawat tempur sebanyak 542 unit.
Selain itu, terdapat juga fakta-fakta menarik yang dimiliki oleh militer India ini. Berikut di antaranya:

Militer Jepang menduduki peringkat kelima sebagai militer terkuat di dunia. Militer Jepang memiliki indeks kekuatan sebanyak 0,1195. Meskipun berada di posisi kelima, Jepang tidak memiliki personel tentara sebanyak militer Amerika Serikat, Rusia, Tiongkok , dan India. Personel yang dimiliki oleh Jepang hanya berjumlah 250.000 orang dengan personel cadangan sebanyak 55.000 personel, serta paramiliter sebanyak 14.000 personel.
Kekuatan militer Jepang sama seperti militer-militer negara lain, yaitu bertumpu kepada angkatan darat, udara, dan juga laut. Selain itu, militer Jepang juga didukung oleh persenjataan dan juga bahan bakar militer. Kekuatan militer Korea Selatan sama seperti militer-militer di negara lain, yaitu bertumpu kepada angkatan darat, udara, dan juga laut. Selain itu, militer Korea Selatan juga didukung oleh persenjataan dan juga bahan bakar militer.
Militer Korea Selatan memiliki total personel 3.680.000 dengan anggota aktif 580.000 dan personel cadangan 3.100.000, bahkan Korea Selatan memiliki anggaran militer sebesar 48 miliar dolar Amerika Serikat. Untuk kekuatan angkatan udara, militer Korea Selatan memiliki pesawat tempur sebanyak 414 unit, pesawat serangan khusus 71 unit, transpor militer 41 unit, pesawat latihan 298 unit, pesawat misi khusus 30 unit, helikopter 803 unit, dan helikopter serang sebanyak 112 unit.
Adapun kekuatan angkatan darat Korea Selatan meliputi tank sebanyak 2.614 unit, kendaraan lapis baja 14.000 unit, artileri gerak 3.040 unit, artileri derek 3.854 unit, dan proyektor roket 575 unit. 7. Militer Prancis
Prancis yang berada di posisi ketujuh memiliki populasi penduduk sebanyak 67.700.000 jiwa. Militer Prancis mendapatkan indeks kekuatan sebesar 0,1283 dalam daftar Global Fire Power. Prancis memiliki total pesawat tempur sebanyak 1.057 unit, 406 tank, 10 kapal selam, dan juga personel militer yang aktif sebanyak 270.000 personel. Walaupun tentara Prancis terlihat tidak istimewa, tetapi para personelnya sangat terlatih. Militer Prancis memiliki 290 hulu ledak nuklir pada 2021.
8. Militer Britania Raya
Militer Britania Raya menempati posisi kedelapan sebagai militer terkuat di dunia. Militer Britania Raya mendapatkan indeks kekuatan sebesar 0,1997 dalam daftar Global Fire Power. Selain tercatat dalam data, negaranya sendiri pun mampu memberikan anggaran 59,2 juta dolar Amerika Serikat kepada militernya.Selain itu, yang membuat militer Britania Raya disebut sebagai militer terkuat karena memiliki HMS Queen Elizabeth, yaitu sebuah kapal induk yang memiliki luas sekitar 4,5 hektare. Kapal induk seluas ini mampu menampung pesawat tempur F-35B sebanyak 40 unit hingga ke penjuru dunia. Militer Britania Raya saat ini juga memiliki 290 hulu ledak nuklir.
9. Militer Pakistan
Militer Pakistan menempati urutan kesembilan sebagai militer terkuat di dunia. Militer Pakistan mendapatkan indeks kekuatan sebesar 0,1572 dalam daftar Global Fire Power. Dalam memperkuat pertahanan negaranya, militer Pakistan memiliki personel aktif sebanyak 654.000 personel, armada angkatan udara 1.364 unit yang sudah termasuk dengan helikopter 331 unit, dan pesawat tempur 357 unit. Lalu memiliki tank 2.680 unit, kendaraan lapis baja 9.635 unit dan ratusan ribu orang paramiliter.
Militer Pakistan tidak pernah memberitahukan secara terbuka mengenai persenjataan mereka. Namun, diperkirakan bahwa militer Pakistan memiliki lebih dari 165 hulu ledak nuklir pada 2021. Anggaran militer yang dimiliki militer Pakistan tidak sebesar anggaran yang diberikan di negara Brasil. Pakistan hanya memberikan anggaran dengan jumlah 12,27 milliar dolar Amerika Serikat.
10. Militer Brasil
Militer Brasil mendapatkan urutan kesepuluh sebagai militer terkuat di dunia. Militer Brasil memiliki indeks kekuatan sebesar 0,1695 dalam daftar Global Fire Power tahun 2022. Negara yang memiliki populasi penduduk sekitar 211,7 juta jiwa ini memiliki total 2.007.000 personel militer dengan 334.500 di antaranya merupakan personel aktif.
Dalam transportasi militernya, Brasil memiliki armada udara sebanyak 676 unit, tank 439 unit, kendaraan lapis baja 2.000 unit, dan juga armada laut sebanyak 112 unit. Berdasarkan data yang dituliskan di SIPRI, Brasil telah menjadi salah satu dari 14 negara yang memiliki kapasitas pengayaan uranium yang signifikan di dunia sebanyak 35.000 SWU per tahunnya.
Kekuatan Militer Indonesia
Skor indeks kekuatan atau power index yang dimiliki Indonesia sebesar 0,2251 poin. Pada 2022, Indonesia berada di peringkat 15 dari 140 negara yang dipertimbangkan untuk tinjauan GFP tahunan. Posisi Indonesia meningkat satu peringkat daripada periode sebelumnya yang mendapat skor 0,2684. Dengan hasil ini, Indonesia menempati urutan pertama di tingkat kawasan ASEAN. Urutan kedua ASEAN atau peringkat 28 dunia ditempati oleh Vietnam dengan nilai 0,4521 dan Thailand di posisi ketiga di ASEAN dan peringkat 29 dunia dengan skor 0,4581.
Berdasarkan data GFP, kekuatan matra udara TNI dilengkapi 445 kekuatan udara. Jumlah itu meliputi 41 pesawat tempur, 23 dedicated attack, 66 transportasi, 126 trainners, 17 pesawat misi khusus, 1 pesawat tanker, 172 helikopter, dan 15 helikopter serang. Kemudian, kekuatan di matra darat Indonesia dilengkapi 314 tank, 1.444 kendaraan lapis baja, 153 self-propelled artillery, 413 tower artillery, dan 63 proyektor roket.
