THE EXISTENCE of the magical city of Saranjana has become a very popular story among the people of Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan.
Saranjana is said to be inhabited by lemonade people or invisible humans, although to this day it still invites controversy as to whether they are from the jinn or not.
The location of Saranjana is believed to be on the edge of Oka-Oka Beach, Pulau Laut Islands District, Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan.
Even though many people doubt its existence, some people have had mystical experiences related to Saranjana.
Some of them have even immortalized a mysterious object which allegedly displays a portrait of Kota Saranjana even though it is not very clear.
Some time ago the virtual world was shocked by the circulation of photos of the alleged appearance of Saranjana City which were accidentally caught on camera.
The series of photos was widely discussed by netizens, resulting in pros and cons. Below are three photos of the alleged appearance of the magical city of Saranjana which has shocked the Indonesian virtual world;

1. The shadow of the building was caught on a selfie camera
Guntur, a mining worker in South Kalimantan, once caused a stir on social media because he uploaded a photo of him in the mining area where he worked in the Central Kelumpang District, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.
In the photo uploaded by his personal Instagram account @guntur_226 on December 19 2019, the background clearly shows a tall building rising into the sky, similar to a modern city. Even though Guntur admitted that there were no such buildings around the mine site.
Some people speculate that the photo may have been edited, namely combining Guntur's selfie with a picture of a high-rise building.
However, the owner of the photo firmly claims that his photo is completely original without any manipulation or editing.
"Lying is not good, it's a sin. Why am I so tired of editing with a building in the background? I'm used to going in and out of buildings, even to the Twin Towers in Seoul, South Korea. That's the head office again, I'm tired," wrote Guntur in response to netizens' accusations on comment column.

2. Beautiful doctor posing against the backdrop of skyscrapers
A beautiful doctor named Devi Ayu Puspita Sari went viral on social media in January 2023.
A beautiful woman wearing glasses who works at one of the hospitals in Kotabaru initially took a photo against the backdrop of the sparkling city, at one of the tourist spots, Mamake Hill.
This hill has become one of Kotabaru's tourist icons with beautiful views. After taking several photos with a sparkling view of the Kotabaru coastal area, Devi's husband realized that there was something strange in one of the photos.

According to the husband's confession, in one of the photos he suddenly caught a line of fog on Devi's left and right, as well as shadows similar to skyscrapers like in a metropolitan city right behind her.
Both Devi and her husband confirmed that the photo was real and not edited.
Both of them were also reluctant to speculate about the appearance of the two mysterious building-like objects caught on camera.
3. Mysterious object caught on drone camera
Saranjana's alleged appearance was also recorded by a drone camera as per the video uploaded by the Instagram account @laluferdian on Wednesday, January 24 2023.
A similar post was also published by the account user @belalahmisteri. The uploaded video shows a natural panorama using a drone. You can see clusters of clouds in the distance that look like high-rise buildings similar to those in a metropolitan city.

"My friend said, my drone accidentally recorded the magical city of Saranjana," said the video recorder.
The video upload created curiosity and excitement among social media users because of the similarity of the visible cluster of clouds to the shape of a row of skyscrapers, which is thought to be the appearance of the magical city of Saranjana. However, many netizens doubt whether the sighting is really Saranjana City.

KEBERADAAN kota gaib Saranjana telah menjadi cerita yang sangat populer di kalangan masyarakat Kabupaten Kotabaru, Kalimantan Selatan.
Saranjana konon dihuni oleh orang limun atau manusia tak kasat mata, meski sampai saat ini masih mengundang kontroversi apakah mereka dari kalangan bangsa jin atau bukan.
Lokasi Saranjana diyakini berada di pinggir Pantai Oka-Oka, Kecamatan Pulau Laut Kepulauan, Kabupaten Kotabaru, Kalimantan Selatan.
Meski banyak yang meragukan keberadaannya, namun beberapa orang memiliki pengalaman mistis terkait Saranjana.
Bahkan sebagian di antara mereka pernah mengabadikan objek misterius yang diduga menampilkan potret Kota Saranjana meski tidak begitu jelas.

1. Bayangan gedung tertangkap kamera selfie
Guntur, seorang pekerja tambang di Kalimantan Selatan pernah membuat heboh media sosial karena unggahan fotonya di daerah tambang tempatnya bekerja di daerah Kecamatan Kelumpang Tengah, Kotabaru, Kalimantan Selatan. Dalam foto yang diunggah akun Instagram pribadinya @guntur_226 pada 19 Desember 2019, nampak jelas latar belakang yang menampilkan sebuah bangunan tinggi menjulang ke langit, mirip di sebuah kota modern. Padahal Guntur mengaku tidak ada gedung semacam itu di sekitar lokasi tambang.
Beberapa orang berspekulasi bahwa foto tersebut mungkin hasil editan, yakni penggabungan antara foto selfie Guntur dengan gambar gedung bertingkat.
Namun, sang pemilik foto dengan tegas mengklaim bahwa fotonya benar-benar asli tanpa adanya manipulasi atau editan.
"Pembohongan itu tidak baik, dosa. Ngapain saya capek-capek mengedit dengan latar gedung. Sudah biasa keluar masuk gedung, bahkan ke Twin Tower di Seoul, Korea Selatan pernah. Itu kantor pusat lagi, capek deh," tulis Guntur menjawab tudingan netizen di kolom komentar.
2. Dokter cantik berpose dengan latar gedung pencakar langit
Seorang dokter cantik bernama Devi Ayu Puspita Sari sempat viral di media sosial pada Januari 2023 lalu.
Perempuan cantik berkacamata yang bekerja di salah satu rumah sakit di Kotabaru awalnya berfoto dengan latar belakang gemerlap kota, di salah satu spot pariwisata, Bukit Mamake.
Bukit itu memang menjadi salah satu ikon wisata Kotabaru dengan pemandangan cantik. Setelah mengambil beberapa foto dengan view gemerlap wilayah pesisir Kotabaru, suami Devi sadar ada yang aneh di salah satu foto tersebut.

Menurut pengakuan sang suami, di salah satu foto tersebut tiba-tiba tertangkap objek garis kabut di sebelah kiri dan kanan Devi, serta bayangan mirip gedung-gedung pencakar langit bak di kota metropolitan tepat di belakangnya.
Baik Devi dan suaminya kompak menegaskan bahwa foto tersebut adalah nyata apa adanya dan bukan editan.
Keduanya juga kompak enggan berspekulasi tentang penampakan dua objek misterius mirip gedung yang tertangkap kamera itu.
3. Objek misterius tertangkap kamera drone
Penampakan diduga Saranjana juga terekam oleh kamera drone sebagaimana video yang diunggah oleh akun Instagram @laluferdian pada Rabu, 24 Januari 2023.
Unggahan serupa juga dipublikasikan pengguna akun @belalahmisteri. Dalam video yang diunggah menampilkan panorama alam menggunakan drone. Terlihat gugusan awan di kejauhan tampak menyerupai gedung-gedung bertingkat mirip di sebuah kota metropolitan.

"Kata teman saya, drone saya secara tidak sengaja merekam kota gaib Saranjana," kata si perekam video.
Unggahan video tersebut menciptakan rasa penasaran dan kehebohan di kalangan pengguna media sosial karena kemiripan gugusan awan yang terlihat dengan bentuk deretan gedung pencakar langit, yang diduga penampakan kota gaib Saranjana. Namun, banyak netizen yang meragukan jika penampakan itu benar Kota Saranjana.
