BALI VOICE OF INDEPENDENCE - Albert Einstein is known as a figure who did not accept religion and the concept of divinity.
However, there is a big secret about Einstein's admiration for the religion of Islam and he even knew about the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Known as a genius physicist who was famous for his ideas on the theory of relativity but Einstein was quite critical of religion.
Even though Einstein did not believe in the concept of divinity, the fact is that there is one interesting Einstein quote about God which reads:
"Science without religion is blind, religion without science is lame."
Einstein's quote means that he had his own views on religion. Einstein actually grew up from a devout Jewish family.
On one occasion he was asked about his belief in the concept of divinity offered by the divine religion.
Einstein argued that the God in Jewish teachings was actually just a fantasy that grew in the heads of its adherents.
"For me, Judaism is the same as other religions, namely the most absurd reincarnation superstition. Their adherents have mediocre qualities, I don't see anything special about them," said Einstein in the book God Delusion.
But some people would find it hard to believe that Einstein harbored admiration for the religion of Islam.
Einstein even said that for him Islam was a much more perfect and logical religion when compared to other religions in the world.
Einstein's interest in the religion of Islam was written down in a secret letter addressed to a famous Shia Islamic cleric of the time.
In this letter, Albert Einstein also said that the theory of relativity that he had been making actually refers to the holy verses of the Koran.
Not only from the Koran, Eintsein also took knowledge from many hadiths which show that he is indeed amazed by the religion of Islam.
Apart from admiring Islam, Albert Einstein apparently recognized the Prophet Muhammad SAW and was even fascinated by the hadiths spoken by the Prophet Muhammad.
According to Einstein the Prophet Muhammad PBUH had a great influence in preventing the evil intentions of the Jews towards Islam.
Einstein's confession about the Prophet Muhammad was written in the book The Great Story of Muhammad.
"I am convinced that with enlightened thinking and mentality Muhammad was able to ward off the Jews who intended to overthrow Islam which until now is still a major force hostile to Islam."
It wasn't just Albert Einstein who admired the Prophet Muhammad, Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, there were also claims from other scientists, one of whom was a writer of Jewish descent named Michael Heart.
He even placed the Prophet Muhammad PBUH in first place in his book The 100 Ranking of the Most Influential Persons In History.

Namun sebagian orang akan sulit percaya bahwa Einstein menyimpan rasa kagum pada agama Islam.
Einstein bahkan sempat mengatakan bahwa baginya Islam itu merupakan agama yang jauh lebih sempurna dan logis jika harus dibandingkan dengan agama lainnya di dunia.
Ketertarikan Einstein pada agama Islam tertulis dalam sebuah surat rahasia yang ditujukan kepada seorang ulama Islam Syiah terkenal pada masa itu.
Dalam surat tersebut Albert Einstein juga mengatakan bahwa teori relativitas yang selama ini ia buat memang mengacu kepada ayat-ayat suci Al Quran.
