HE IS A SYMBOL OF GLORY AND PRIDE

There is no more appropriate expression that describes the position of our life partner, except for what has been mentioned in the Qur'an:
Ù‡ُÙ†َّ Ù„ِبَاسٌ Ù„َّÙƒُÙ…ْ ÙˆَØ£َنتُÙ…ْ Ù„ِبَاسٌ Ù„َّÙ‡ُÙ†َّ
"They are clothing for you, and you are clothing for them." (QS. Al Baqarah: 187)
Is there anything more beautiful and true than this parable? Look, among the functions of a person's clothing is that first it covers the genitals. Second, as protection from heat stroke or other types of interference.
Third, as a body warmer from the cold. Fourth, it can also be a symbol of glory or honor.
And fifth, even clothing can also be a symbol of the pride of the person wearing it.
Because of that, then, there are almost no accessories attached to a person's body that get the most attention, more than the attention and care of their clothes.
Thus, the position of a wife for a man is not just a "tool" to cover the nakedness as is the basic function of clothing. The wife is not only a place for the husband to channel his lust.
More than that, a wife is a source of glory and pride in a man's life, which he will always treat as well as possible.
There is nothing in a real man's life of "beauty" which he guards so closely and which he is ready to defend, even at the cost of his life, more than the honor of his wife.
So it is the nature of a husband, he will provide more protection to his wife, more than anything else, not because he wants to limit his movement let alone want to rob him of his freedom. But because he realized, a wife's chastity is almost like the glory and position of the scriptures!
DIA SIMBOL KEMULIAAN DAN KEBANGGAAN

Tidak ada ungkapan yang lebih tepat yang menggambarkan tentang kedudukan pasangan hidup kita, kecuali apa yang telah disebutkan dalam al Qur'an :
Ù‡ُÙ†َّ Ù„ِبَاسٌ Ù„َّÙƒُÙ…ْ ÙˆَØ£َنتُÙ…ْ Ù„ِبَاسٌ Ù„َّÙ‡ُÙ†َّ
"Mereka adalah pakaian bagimu, dan kamu pun adalah pakaian bagi mereka." (QS. Al Baqarah : 187)
Adakah yang lebih indah dan benar dari perumpaan ini ? Lihatlah, diantara fungsi dari pakaian seseorang adalah pertama ia sebagai penutup aurat. Kedua sebagai pelindung dari sengatan panas atau jenis gangguan lainnya.
Ketiga sebagai penghangat badan dari hawa dingin. Ke empat ia pun bisa menjadi simbol kemuliaan atau kehormatan.
Dan yang kelima, bahkan pakaian juga bisa menjadi simbol kebanggaan dari orang yang mengenakannya.
Karena itulah kemudian, nyaris tidak ada aksesoris yang melekat di tubuh seseorang yang paling mendapatkan atensi, melebihi perhatian dan penjagaan terhadap pakaiannya.
Demikianlah, kedudukan istri bagi seorang laki-laki bukanlah sekedar "alat" untuk menutup aurat seperti halnya fungsi dasar pakaian. Istri bukan hanya menjadi tempat suami menyalurkan nafsu syahwat.
Lebih dari itu, istri adalah sumber kemuliaan dan kebanggaan dalam kehidupan seorang laki-laki, yang akan senantiasa ia perlakukan dengan sebaik-baiknya.
Tidak ada dalam kehidupan seorang laki-laki sejati "keindahan" yang begitu ketat ia jaga dan yang siap untuk ia bela, meski dengan taruhan nyawa sekalipun melebihi kehormatan istrinya.
Sehingga fitrah seorang suami, ia akan memberikan proteksi lebih kepada istrinya, melebihi apapun, bukan karena ia ingin membatasi ruang gerak apa lagi hendak merampas kebebasannya. Tapi karena dia menyadari, seorang istri itu kesuciannya nyaris seperti kemuliaan dan kedudukan kitab suci !
