Take a peek at the assets of 3 presidential candidates: Prabowo, Ganjar and Anies, who is the richest?
Take a peek at the assets of 3 presidential candidates: Prabowo, Ganjar and Anies, who is the richest?
Eight months before the voting day for the 2024 election, at least three names of figures have been declared as potential presidential candidates (candidates).
The Gerindra party was the first to announce their chairman, Prabowo Subianto, as the RI-1 candidate. Prabowo's declaration of presidential nomination was announced at the 2022 Gerindra Party National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) forum at the Sentul International Convention Center, Bogor, West Java, Friday (12/8/2022).
"I hereby declare that with full sense of responsibility I accept your request to be prepared to be nominated as a candidate for president of the Republic of Indonesia," Prabowo said in front of thousands of cadres.
At the Rapimnas moment, Gerindra at the same time formalized the collaboration with the National Awakening Party (PKB). The two of them formed the Great Indonesia Awakening Coalition for the 2024 Election.
Less than two months later, it was the Nasdem Party's turn to announce former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate.
Previously, apart from Anies, there were two other names on the Nasdem presidential candidate radar, namely Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and Andika Perkasa who at that time served as TNI Commander.
"Nasdem's choice of presidential candidate is the best rather than the best. This is the end of Nasdem giving a figure of Anies Baswedan," said Nasdem Party chairman Surya Paloh at Nasdem Tower, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Monday (3/10/2022).
Later, Anies' presidential nomination received support from two other political parties, namely the Democratic Party and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS). Nasdem and the two parties agreed to form a Change Coalition for Unity.
Most recently, PDI Perjuangan announced its cadre, Ganjar Pranowo, as the RI-1 candidate. The name Ganjar was announced directly by PDI-P Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"At 13.45, by saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, appointed brother Ganjar Pranowo, now the Governor of Central Java, as a cadre and party officer, to increase his assignment as a candidate for president of the Republic of Indonesia from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle," saidMegawati at the Batu Tulis Palace, Bogor, West Java, Friday (21/4/2023).
So far, three political parties have come together to express support for Ganjar's candidacy. The three are the United Development Party (PPP), the Hanura Party, and the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo).
Even so, both Prabowo, Anies, and Ganjar have only the status of potential presidential candidates, not yet official presidential candidates. The General Elections Commission (KPU) has just opened registration for presidential-vice presidential candidates (cawapres) participating in the election in October.
After that, the registered presidential and cawapres pairs will campaign from 28 November 2023 to 10 February 2024, before being elected simultaneously by the Indonesian people on 14 February 2024.
So, how much wealth will each presidential candidate have? Of the three, who is the richest?
Prabowo was originally going back and forth to compete on the election stage. In the 2009 general election, he became the running mate to accompany Megawati's presidential candidate. However, both were defeated by the Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY)-Boediono pair.
The former Commander of the Strategic Command (Pangkostrad) then tried his luck as a presidential candidate in the 2014 and 2019 elections, but was defeated twice by Joko Widodo.
According to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN), which was reported on December 31, 2022, Prabowo was recorded as having assets of IDR 2 trillion. Quoted from the e-LHKPN on the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) website, the following details Prabowo's assets:

Anies Baswedan has tried a number of positions in the government. At the beginning of the formation of the Working Cabinet led by President Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin, Anies was entrusted with becoming the Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud).
However, less than two years later, Anies was removed from his post on July 27 2016. His position at that time was replaced by Muhadjir Effendy.
A year later, Anies advanced in the 2017 DKI Pilkada contest as a candidate for governor paired with Sandiaga Uno as a candidate for deputy governor.
Both managed to come out as winners. Anies also led DKI for five years and only retired on October 16, 2022.

Inilah akhir Nasdem memberikan seorang sosok Anies Baswedan," kata Ketua Umum Partai Nasdem Surya Paloh di Nasdem Tower, Gondangdia, Jakarta Pusat, Senin (3/10/2022).
Lantas, berapa harta kekayaan masing-masing bakal capres?
7 unit mobil: Rp 1.258.500.000
Harta bergerak lainnya: Rp 16.415.023.500

Total harta kekayaan: Rp 2.034.395.519.335
Rinciannya yakni:
6 bidang tanah dan bangunan: Rp 14.715.962.000
1 unit mobil dan 2 unit motor: Rp 550.000.000

Sebelum menjabat sebagai kepala daerah, Ganjar merupakan anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) RI selama hampir 10 tahun. Dia menjadi anggota legislator selama 2004-2013.
