SOLIPSISM: YOU ARE THE ONLY EXISTING BEING

These past few days I am doubting the importance of everything and everyone around me. I look at my friends and family and feel genuine happiness whenever I see their smiles and hear their laughter. Then I realized, what if these people are just an illusion that was purposely made to accompany me?
Ladies and gentlemen, open your minds and take a closer look at this creepy yet somehow valid philosophy, Solipsism. Ayon sa pilosopiyang ito, walang ibang bagay o nilalang ang nag-eexist kundi ikaw lamang. Ang lahat ng nakikita natin ay ilusyon lamang na gawa ng isip natin to distract it from eternal loneliness. We base our perception of reality depending on what our senses is telling us, but the question is, can we really trust our own senses to tell us the whatever is real?
Paano ka nakakasiguro na ang taong naririnig, nakikita, naaamoy, nahahawakan o natitikman (Depending on the situation) mo ay nananatiling ganoon kapag wala na sila sa paligid mo? What if they are just a made up character to keep you happy and when you’re not together, they just vanish until your mind longs for them again. Makakasiguro ka na nag-eexist ka ngunit paano ka makakasiguro na ang ibang tao ay nag-eexist din kung walang paraan para patunayan ito? For as long as we are incapable of escaping our own minds we can never really tell if other people also have consciousness or if they are just created by the only sure existing thing, your mind.
There is a possibility that you are in a simulation right now and that everything that’s around you is computer generated. What if this world is the real matrix? What if death is a term we just invented to describe an ending of a period and a beginning of another one? WHAT IF THIS ARTICLE IS ALSO CREATED BY YOUR MIND TO AWAKEN YOU? What if everything is just a dream? What if you are the last human existing and beings with higher intellect are trying to do experiments with you and so they access your brain?
It may sound stupid yes, I agree, but we can never really prove that other things exist if we don’t get to see what life looks like in their perspective. In the end, Solipsism is just a philosophy that suggests the possibility of you being so alone and desperate that you created other things and believed that it’s real.
