Betul Atau Salah?, 6 Dosa Besar Google Terhadap Bangsa Indonesia
Please be wise.
Hell no!
Alesannya simpel, sedikit naif juga menurut saya : “Scanning email is simply part of the business”. Whatt??
Wait.
They are not a God. No, gak ada.
5. Google Play? Developer Indonesia Harap Menyingkir
6. There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch!

True or False?, Google's 6 Big Sins Against the Indonesian Nation
Update Important Note: I found this article on Google Search. By the time you read this article, Google's policies may have changed a lot. Please be wise.
There is a big question that is in my mind after seeing the development of the internet lately. Apparently the same question is also on the minds of the European Commission (EU) and the Federal Trade Commission (US) and even the Texas Attorney General. Does Google have a monopoly on the internet?
Google, whose domain filing was launched on September 4, 1998, claims that there is absolutely no monopoly practice in its business. In particular, though, Google says it's currently under review of some of its businesses, including DoubleClick, Admob and ITA Software.
Still fresh from the past, in April 2008, the world was shocked by the planned merger of Google and Yahoo! Inc. If that really happens, no doubt there will be a big monopoly on search engines and their marketing systems. This is clearly dangerous because the velocity of money in search engines will dwell on the two largest companies. Luckily it didn't. Just three hours before America's Department of Justice filed a lawsuit, the deal fell through.
Until now, there have been many lawsuits directed at Google and other large internet companies, such as Facebook for example. All of them dwell on the problem of using user data. In fact, Facebook openly emails all of its users to use the photos for Facebook's business interests. Because of this incident, Facebook was protested by its users. Hell no!
The most recent thing from Google is that, a few days ago, the lawyer for this company submitted a request to be able to read emails from every GMail account. Yes, Google will read the contents of every email that we send through their system. The reason is simple, in my opinion a little naive: "Scanning email is simply part of the business". What??
Wait. Maybe there is some truth too. In every Gmail account there are text-ads that always appear. Starting from here, Google 'forces' to read our email. Google's algorithm skills that read words, of course, would be very useful if it could detect every word in an email and then send every advertisement related to those words. boom! the result is of course a very, very targeted form of advertising. The problem is, whether to stop there. Wallahualam.
Even though it took great pains to fend off news from Edward Snowden, the spy who leaked American secrets to the public, who said that Google was one of the companies that leaked user data to the NSA through the PRISM Program. PRISM is the code name for an internet data collection program supported by the Protect America Act. Initially, this program was used to prevent terrorism by opening data and access to every account that the National Security Agency (NSA) suspected would be dangerous for America. Major companies participating in this program are: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, YouTube, Skype, AOL and Apple. Finally, Dropbox is also said to be joining. Of course, all of these companies vehemently deny their involvement in PRISM.
Whatever it is, Google is a huge giant. Because big means it's appropriate to be arrogant. It's just that that arrogance means nothing in China. For some reason, now I understand why China flatly refused Google and completely supported the domestic search engine: Baidu. Actions that used to be criticized by many people in the world, because it hindered the globalization of information, he said, are now reaping praise. Only with this kind of courage, a nation will have great sovereignty. The power of global companies, which are supported by America, then penetrate the boundaries of investment and private space, must be suspected. Unfortunately, our beloved country is still shy when dealing with foreign companies. Just look at how much of our natural products are brought abroad by foreign companies. Will our intellectual output, including thought and technology, be controlled by foreign companies too? Is it true that Google is so generous to put on a pretty face with the Government of Indonesia? This is a grave sin that Google has committed and will commit against this nation.
1. Before Buying Android, This Must Know
Every time we activate our Android smartphone for the first time, there will be a notification to enter our Google account. I only realized this was a little odd when I realized that the account will never be closed as long as we are using the same android. This means that all Google businesses: Search Engines, Videos: YouTube, Maps, Gmail and Chrome including Google CheckOut (now Google wallet) will continue to be in the 'on' position. Here's the problem: type the word 'email' then we will be directed to Gmail, even though Gmail is the third largest email service in the world. The first is YahooMail. Including when we type the word 'analytic' or 'translate', guess what comes out first. Your search on Android will never be fair. Google is in charge and this has never been communicated to the public.
2. Google Maps: Intelligence on behalf of Maps
I once posted on Bixbux about how Google Maps can be very dangerous. This really happened. Google can freely detect where we are. State high officials, military installation locations to secret locations will be revealed easily. Don't forget, according to our law, a base map of an area can only be provided by the state. Google is already violating this by providing a basemap every inch of the motherland. Question: are you sure Google can't see how many of our tanks or planes are parked outside? Or how many members of our military by identifying how many military bases/barracks do we have? How about the state palace, are you sure that our president is free from threats? Can Google know the entry and exit of vehicles at the state palace in real time?
3. Indonesian Adsense Publishers? Banned!
I don't blame Google for banning adsense accounts from publishers from Indonesia. There are so many ad service providers now, be it ads-networks or traffic source companies, who refuse publishers from Indonesia just because of the many 'frauds' that have been committed. What should not be forgotten is: Google is also looking for money in Indonesia. Advertisers on Google from Indonesia can be said to be very potential. Google's fear is marked by the opening of Google's office in secret. There was controversy over whether Google needed to install servers in Indonesia, but gradually the news quieted down because Google claimed to only activate its advertising agency in Jakarta. Whether it's an advertising agency or whatever it is, money from advertisers from Indonesia is still withdrawn smoothly to Singapore (Google's office is there) before being sent with a smile to America.
If a company this big always blames its publishers and deifies advertisers, then why does every dollar from a banned account, which is always said to be returned to the advertiser (advertiser) never happen. This incident was traced by my colleague, Harrison Gervitz, whose Adsense account was banned, but the money never returned to the advertiser (Harrison is also an advertiser at Google, an Adwords premium account holder).
4. Mastering the Indonesian Market from Outside
Why is the Indonesian government so subservient to Google? The answer is only one: because our people are so proud of a global product. Just look at how proud our people are to be acquainted with Google people. Or when involved in various events organized by Google. They are not a God. They are the rulers of the search engine market in Indonesia. Is there a local search engine that we often use? No, nothing. So why isn't there a government program to use local products, even on the internet? Millions of traffic from Indonesia are currently completely controlled by various foreign companies, from abroad and there is no protection at all from the local government. If there is a dispute, the law that is used is of course the law where the Google office is located. Indonesian law? Sorry, I won't use it, except for those who regulate digital advertising. Uh, is there really?
5. Google Play? Indonesian Developers Please Step Away
It's so real. Unlike Apple, Google doesn't allow app developers from Indonesia, who live in Indonesia with an Indonesian bank account, to 'make money' on their Android app market: Google Play. Compare with how many Android users in Indonesia. In 2011 alone, shipments of Android smartphones to Indonesia grew 22 percent sequentially. Globally, 48 billion Android applications have been installed and the last 2.5 billion were obtained in just 4 months. For this reason, Google also admits that now they have more revenue from the Google Play Store than last year and revenue per use has also increased 2.5 times. This was revealed at the Google I/O 2013 event held at the Moscone Center West, San Francisco in May 2013. So, the operating system enters Indonesia (90% through Samsung handsets), the application is downloaded by many Indonesians, but Indonesians, who live in the motherland, with local bank accounts, are not allowed to sell paid applications on Google Play. Where's the justice?
6. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch!
Meaning: there's no such thing as a free lunch, everything has a reciprocal. Okay, Google in Indonesia has a Local Business Go Online program. One of the programs is to provide free domain and hosting for 100,000 small entrepreneurs who will work on the online market. Specifically mentioned, currently there are only 75,000 SMEs out of 17 million SMEs that have their own website. Santa Claus? Wait, wait a minute. Other assistance from this program is Help from Google in more detail, namely: (1) Free “.co.id” domain for the first year after registration. For the following year, SME participants will be charged a maximum fee of IDR 150,000 per year, (2) Free ongoing business consultation and education, (3) Free online advertising and registration on Google Maps, (4) AdWords Coupon worth IDR 500,000 for the first 100,000 registrants. have activatedtheir site and have an account with AdWords. Hhmm.. three of the four points above use the word free. Okay, still it won't be free forever, but we all know, just having a website is not enough for a company. The struggle to get the first ranking on search engines is what is interesting. Will Google provide search engine result position incentives? Except for Amazon products (because Google's 3 board directors were formerly from Amazon, even Amazon is said to have a special PPC ad platform integration from Google), don't expect Google to lend a hand. This capitalist named Google will continue to withdraw every rupiah we have abroad.
Frankly, I'm not antipathy to Google. But it feels like this company really needs a comparable balance. The investment is taxed more kek, or must be friendly to this nation. For some reason I have faith, if our president is still Soekarno, the honor and dignity of this nation will not be trampled on so deeply by foreign companies. Sad, but we will always be in a position to lose to Google. Don't believe it, let's just 'googling' it again, instead of thinking like this
Please a thousand apologies thank you🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏼
Note : hopefully this article is indexed by Google and Bixbux is not in the sandbox.
