FULL SPEED! Today: PDI-P Rejects Israel in the U-20 World Cup, Afraid of Jokowi Impeachment?

FIFA has officially revoked Indonesia's status as the host of the U-20 World Cup. In its official statement, FIFA said that the revocation took into account the current situation in the country.

In recent times, there has been a rejection of the participation of the Israeli national team in this event. One of them came from the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster and the Governor of Central Java Hasto Kristiyanto, who are also PDI Perjuangan cadres.

PDI Perjuangan Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto also spoke up. According to him, since the beginning PDI-P had warned the government of Israel's potential participation in the U-20 World Cup.

In fact, the warning was delivered long before Israel was declared qualified as one of the participants.

Hasto has also lobbied by visiting a number of parties since early 2022. According to him, PDI-P's concerns are not without reason.

Domestic public resistance to Israel is still quite high. In fact, he said, when Yahya Cholil Staquf, before becoming General Chairperson of PBNU, was invited to be a speaker in Israel, there was turmoil in the country which caught quite a bit of attention some time ago.

In a conversation with Kompas.com, Hasto revealed that Indonesia had at least twice been given ethical sanctions by FIFA, before the international football federation revoked Indonesia's status as host of the U-20 World Cup. For what reason was the sanction given?

Is it true that there is a potential for President Joko Widodo's government to be impeached if the Israeli national team really comes?
