In fact, Facebook's parent company was fined US$5 billion or Rp. 77 trillion in a previous decision.  In a US appeals court decision, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) could reopen an investigation into Facebook's privacy practices, quoted by Reuters, Friday (15/3/2024).  The court supported the FTC's concerns about privacy issues that could impact the public interest. Meta is said to have the opportunity to challenge any final action taken by the FTC.  The FTC declined to comment on the new ruling. Meanwhile, Meta said the FTC cannot rewrite court settlements by parties.  The new decision, called Meta, will have an impact on Meta's operations.
