As a result, hundreds of thousands of users flocked to uninstall ad blockers because they received warnings from YouTube.  A number of companies that offer ad blocking services say thousands of users have uninstalled their products. This mass uninstall occurred after YouTube expanded its ban on the use of ad blockers globally.  One company, AdGuard, said more than 11,000 people had removed its Chrome extensions every day since October 9.
