As reported by Morocco World News, Sunday (8/10/2023) local sources confirmed that Israeli warplanes carried out the attack targeting the Al-Amin Muhammad Mosque. The Israeli retaliatory attack occurred one day after the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation initiated by Hamas, Saturday (7/10) The attack was in response to the storming of Jerusalem's Al Aqsadi Mosque and increasing incidents of settler violence in the occupied territories. Hamas claimed responsibility for launching rockets into Israeli territory and arresting several Israeli citizens. The Israeli army then launched Operation Iron Sword in response.
