Google Launches Unique Internet Domain .meme to Create Funny Websites

Google launched a new domain ".meme", for site owners who want the name of their website to sound unique, funny, or silly.
"Memes are the embodiment of internet culture that have captured the attention, hearts, and minds of millions of people. So it's fitting that they can now use their own top-level domain: .meme," wrote Google Registry in its announcement.
The top-level .meme domain has just been released by Google Registry and is available to register as part of the early access period for a one-time additional fee.
However, if you don't want to incur additional costs, this domain will be publicly released by Google Registry on December 5, 2023. At that time, users only had to pay a basic annual fee.

Google meluncurkan domain baru ".meme", buat para pemilik situs yang ingin nama website-nya terdengar unik, lucu, atau konyol.
"Meme adalah perwujudan budaya internet yang telah menarik perhatian, hati, dan pikiran jutaan orang. Jadi sudah sepantasnya mereka sekarang dapat menggunakan domain tingkat atas mereka sendiri: .meme," tulis Google Registry dalam pengumumannya.
Domain top-level .meme ini baru saja dirilis oleh Google Registry dan sudah bisa tersedia untuk didaftarkan sebagai bagian dari masa akses awal dengan satu kali biaya tambahan.
Namun, jika tidak ingin dikenakan biaya tambahan, domain ini akan dirilis secara publik oleh Google Registry pada 5 Desember 2023 mendatang. Saat itu, pengguna hanya cukup membayar biaya dasar tahunan.
