CNBC - Israel is preparing a sophisticated robot that can kill humans. The same weapon is reportedly also being developed by the United States (US) and China.

Reportedly this will utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology. A report by The New York Times says that automated drones will soon become a reality. Later it will be able to be used to detect the presence and target targets strongly.

This report comes when the situation in the Gaza Strip continues to heat up. As is known, Israel attacked Gaza to eradicate the Hamas group.

Efforts for a ceasefire pushed by a number of countries were finally postponed. In fact, previously Israel had agreed to this proposal.

But the existence of the robot worries critics. Because human life and death will be in the hands of machines without human intervention.

In fact, several countries also seem to be worried about the use of AI in drones. They are said to be lobbying the UN to issue a policy prohibiting its use.

However, there are several countries that do not agree with the ban. The US and Israel are among the countries that are challenging, as are Russia and Australia.

Countries that oppose this request want to develop technology for military purposes. "This issue is the most significant point for the future of humanity," Alexander Kmentt, Austria's chief negotiator, told The Times.
He said automation weapons can create fundamental companies. Including it could trigger legal and ethical problems.

In the US itself, it is said that thousands of AI-based drones are being prepared for the military. The report was published in early 2023.
The US predicts that its AI-based military capabilities can surpass its lifelong enemy, China. United States (US) Deputy Minister of Defense Kathleen Hicks said his party would be difficult to beat.

"We will fight the Chinese troops with our troops. However, our troops are more difficult to outsmart, difficult to overthrow, difficult to defeat," he said, according to a Reuters report.

Robot Pembunuh Israel Disiapkan, Habisi Manusia Tanpa Ampun

Laporan The New York Times menyebutkan drone otomatis itu sebentar lagi akan jadi kenyataan.

Wakil Menteri Pertahanan Amerika Serikat (AS) Kathleen Hicks mengatakan pihaknya akan sulit dikalahkan.
