The video was uploaded by Send Haber Ajansi, a news agency based in Turkey on Saturday (30/9/2023).
In the viral video, a man wearing a white t-shirt and black trousers is seen praying with a prayer mat.
The man faced the parapet which was about one meter from where he was standing.

Then, the man appeared to be praying fervently.
While praying, a Chinese policeman wearing a blue and black uniform tried to throw the man away by pushing his front body.
However, the man remained solemn. He continued to pray.
As explained by Send Haber Ajansi, the man performing the prayers was from Uzbekistan.

He is part of the Asian Games contingent from the former country of Russia.

When the incident occurred, he had just finished watching the competition of athletes from Uzbekistan at the venue where he was performing prayers.

Abdurahmon Fazilov, a member of the Uzbekistan contingent who was at the scene of the incident, said,
A Chinese police officer attacked his friend who was performing evening prayers\
in a place that clearly does not disturb other people's social space.

"I was also in a very bad situation 3 days ago.
They took the prayer mat from my bag. "Today, I witnessed this situation when my friend was performing evening prayers," he said.
He added, when the Chinese policeman tried to push the man, Abdurahmon Fazilov immediately blocked the policeman,
"And finally my friend was able to finish his prayer," he said.
Until this news was published, there was no explanation from the Chinese authorities
regarding the racist treatment of the Communist state police.
