Visit IKN, Menkopolhukam Mahfud MD: Like in Heaven
Menkopolhukam Mahfud MD accompanied by PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono visited the State Capital (IKN) in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, on Thursday (13/4/2023).
In this activity, Mahfud visited the IKN Zero Point area, the Presidential Palace, and the IKN workers' apartments.
Mahfud and his entourage saw the progress of development at the IKN, which is currently being accelerated.
From the PUPR's explanation, for the construction of the State Palace, the progress is currently only 6 percent.
Mahfud also supports the acceleration of the progress of the IKN development.
"It's like in heaven," said Mahfud, when asked by the media crew during the visit, Thursday.
Mahfud believes that the IKN development work will run smoothly.
This was after he saw firsthand the progress of development at the IKN.

"I am optimistic that the progress of the IKN development will run smoothly," he said.
It is known, the progress of the physical development of the Archipelago Capital City (IKN) has reached 26 percent or a significant increase from the progress when the President visited last February.

Menkopolhukam Mahfud MD didampingi Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono mengunjungi Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) di Kecamatan Sepaku, Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur, pada Kamis (13/4/2023).
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Mahfud mendatangi kawasan Titik Nol IKN, Istana Presiden, dan apartemen pekerja IKN.
Mahfud dan rombongan melihat progres pembangunan di IKN yang saat ini terus dikebut.
Dari penjelasan pihak PUPR, untuk pembangunan Istana Negara, progresnya saat ini baru memasuki 6 persen.
Mahfud turut mendukung percepatan progres pembangunan IKN.
"Ini seperti di surga," ujar Mahfud, saat ditanya awak media di sela-sela kunjungan, Kamis.
Mahfud meyakini pekerjaan pembangunan IKN ini berjalan lancar.
Hal ini setelah dirinya melihat secara langsung progres pembangunan di IKN.

"Saya optimis progres pembangunan IKN berjalan lancar," ungkap dia.
Diketahui, untuk progres pembangunan fisik Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) telah mencapai 26 persen atau meningkat signifikan dari progres saat dikunjungi Presiden pada Februari lalu.
