Sri Mulyani Was Angry Seeing The Behavior Of The Children Of Tax Officials Showing Off Their Assets And Luxury Cars
- The Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati was finally "embarrassed" by the emergence of a case of abuse allegedly committed by the son of the Director General of Taxes, named Mario Dandy Satriyo (MDS).
The son of the official from the Head of the General Section of the Regional Office of the DJP South Jakarta II is strongly suspected of abusing the child of the GP Ansor administrator so that he was seriously injured and fell into a coma.
The Minister of Finance, who claimed to have heard this information on Tuesday (21/2/2023) evening, immediately gave specific instructions regarding the case.
The instruction reaffirmed all levels of the Ministry of Finance to condemn acts of violence and the luxurious lifestyle of officials and employees of the Ministry of Finance.
"The Ministry of Finance condemns the acts of violence committed and supports the consistent handling of the law by the competent authorities," said Sri Mulyani via her Instagram account @smindrawati, quoted on Wednesday (22/2/2023).
Officials, especially from the Ministry of Finance, according to Sri Mulyani, should be able to set a good example. It's not the other way around, it's showing off their wealth which then causes an erosion of confidence in the integrity of the Ministry of Finance.
It can also give a negative reputation to all levels of the Ministry of Finance who have and continue to work honestly, cleanly and professionally.
"Public trust is an essential thing and a foundation that must be maintained together and must not be compromised by all levels of the Ministry of Finance," said Sri Mulyani.
"Thank you to all the people and stakeholders who continue to monitor and protect us. Let's protect and build together with Indonesia," he concluded.

- Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani Indrawati akhirnya turut 'jengah' dengan munculnya kasus penganiayaan yang diduga dilakukan oleh anak pejabat Dirjen Pajak, bernama Mario Dandy Satriyo (MDS).
Anak pejabat Kepala Bagian Umum Kanwil DJP Jaksel II itu diduga kuat menganiaya anak pengurus GP Ansor hingga mengalami luka serius hingga koma.
Menkeu yang mengaku mendengar informasi ini pada Selasa (21/2/2023) malam segera memberikan instruksi khusus terkait kasus tersebut.
Instruksi tersebut yakni menegaskan kembali pada seluruh jajaran Kemenkeu untuk mengecam tindakan kekerasan dan gaya hidup mewah para pejabat dan pegawai Kemenkeu.
"Kemenkeu mengecam tindakan kekerasan yang dilakukan dan mendukung penanganan hukum secara konsisten oleh instansi yang berwenang," ujar Sri Mulyani melalui akun instagram @smindrawati, dikutip pada Rabu (22/2/2023).
Pejabat, terutama dari kemenkeu, menurut Sri Mulyani seharusnya bisa memberi contoh baik. Bukan sebaliknya yang justru pamer harta yang kemudian menimbulkan erosi kepercayaan terhadap integritas Kementerian Keuangan.
Hal itu juga bisa memberikan reputasi negatif kepada seluruh jajaran Kemenkeu yang telah dan terus bekerja secara jujur, bersih dan profesional.
"Kepercayaan publik adalah hal esensial dan fondasi yang harus dijaga bersama dan tidak boleh dikompromikan oleh seluruh jajaran Kemenkeu," ucap Sri Mulyani.
"Terimakasih kepada seluruh masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan yang terus ikut memonitor dan menjaga kami. Mari kita jaga dan bangun bersama Indonesia," pungkasnya.
