Circulating a video of the alleged molester David grinning in the counseling room, this is what the South Jakarta Metro Police said

A narrated upload by one of the suspects in the persecution of David, Shane Lukas, with a grin in the Counseling Room of the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Picket, went viral on social media, Twitter. 

This was discovered after this account uploaded a video when Shane was wearing an orange shirt at the South Jakarta Metro Police. 

From the video circulating, the suspect is placed in the picket criminal counseling room accompanied by a man wearing a white shirt. 

However, Shane is suspected of still being able to joke in front of the police and it is this behavior that causes netizens to be astonished and furious. 

He was considered not deterred by his involvement in the persecution case which caused David to fall into a coma for days. 

"This is Shane Lukas, one of the suspects in David's abuse, in front of the police he can still laugh giddily like that," tweeted the account. 

"There was no visible remorse in him, there was gossip that when Mario was examined he was singing instead. Was he s**** j*** or felt he had a strong backing?," he added. 

As of Sunday (26/2/2023), a video showing Shane allegedly joking in front of the police has been shown 121,100 times. 

So, what is the response from the South Jakarta Metro Police regarding the circulation of the video of Shane grinning in the counseling room on the picket criminal justice system? 

Response from the South Jakarta Metro Police

South Jakarta Metro Police Public Relations Section Head (Kasie) AKP Nurma Dewi said that Shane's position as recorded in the video was awaiting the release of the suspect by the South Jakarta Metro Police. 

It is known that his party held a press conference to reveal Shane's involvement in the alleged assault case against David last Friday (24/2/2023). 

The press conference was chaired directly by the Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Ade Ary Syam, and Shane was also present when the suspect was released. 

However, Nurma did not provide further information about the video of Shane allegedly smirking in front of the police. 

He also did not convey an overview of the situation when the suspect was placed in the criminal justice picket counseling room. 

"That's it. So why else (Shane)," added Shane when contacted by Kompas.com, Sunday (26/2/2023). 

Shane's role in the persecution of Cristalino David Ozora

Shane Lukas (19) was named a suspect in the recording of the abuse by Mario Dandy Satriyo of victim D (17). The release of Shane Lukas was carried out at a press conference at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (24/2/2023). 

Ade explained that Shane was on duty as a video recorder when the victim was brutally abused by Mario Dandy Satrio (20). 

Mario is the son of the former Head of the General Section of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance of the South Jakarta Regional Office (Kanwil) II. 

He allegedly assaulted David on Monday (20/2/2023) at around 20.30 WIB at the Grand Permata Complex, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. 

"MDS (Mario) contacted Shane to tell him about the inappropriate treatment the victim had towards A. However, when he told this, Mario got emotional," explained Ade. 

Apart from recording David's abuse, Shane also provoked Mario to attack him. 

The provocation was given by Shane after he heard a story about the bad treatment experienced by a woman with the initial A, Mario's girlfriend. 

"Responding to Mario's story, Shane then answered like this, 'If I were you, just beat me. That's bad, Den'," said Ade. 

"The 'spark' that was struck by Shane ultimately made them determined to meet the victim," he continued.
